@Josh Pitts Do You Remember 1986 Daytona 500
I remember that race like it was yesterday…I was in beemerville and my dad died so I was living with my uncle and helping him rebuild the beemerville house and I brought a old TV and hooked up antenna to get that race…had the TV on a couple milk crates… and set up a couple chairs and my uncle kept saying something is going to happen and screw him out of it… and I kept saying nooo ..he’s got it!! He’s got it!!!! And the caution came out and I jumped up and screamed…I FN told you!!! I knew it!!! He’s finally got it!! Hell FN yea!!!
This is pretty cool, I never heard the audio of that day
Man I miss dale earnhardt
Soldberg luck .
“untold stories”? This is one of the toldest story ever
Untold, except for the time it was told on the Dale jr download
That’s what’s missing in the sport today. The sport isn’t as close to the drivers as they used to be. Used to be a big family.
Very cool to hear the complete story. Sign of respect when Dale Earnhardt asks permission to “Take a little spin in the grass.”
0:10 – Hearing Allen Bestwick calling the ’98 Daytona 500 and Dale’s Only 500 on Radio, Pretty Badass
Wow incredible story I had no idea
As a kid I was SO EXCITED by this win that I painted this 3 car, full size, on my Grandpa’s barn!
An iconic moment (the win, not the barn!)
