Bring back the Winston Cup points format

If that car went up side down on its top , and the way the cup cars run faster hopefully we don’t see any of cars upside down on its top tomrw at the 500. The way that car went upside down that quick isn’t good for the cup cars especially toward end of race

Nascar RUINS SO MANY RACES with this “frozen field finish” BS. As a fan, we would MUCH PREFER Nascar return to “racing back to the line”, for the win instead of fans *guessing* what some idiots in a booth will determine about a frozen film frame we can’t even see at home. HORRIBLE way to keep ending races. Instead, make one simple rule: “If an incident on the final lap creates a safety hazard before the leader gets to the start/finish line, then re-rack them for another overtime. If a final lap incident does not create a safety hazard, let the cars race back to the line”. It’s that simple. Fans DESERVE TO SEE the leaders race back to the start finish line for a win.

So you’re saying we delay medical attention to a driver that may need it asap. Because safety crew can’t just go out on a green track.
Delayed by not even half a second, by the time medical crews even make it on the track the whole field would’ve done hit the finish line

That car was airborne, came back down, made one half turn and then they threw the caution. NOT GOOD Nascar…
