Not the finish I wanted, but we’ll deserved Stenhouse, it is never easy to win a 500 mile race at Daytona, so congratulations

As a boy from Mississippi, Stenhouse needed that win. Mississippi needed that win

Really not one race could finish under green this weekend?

hunterPRO1 S February 20, 2023 at 12:28 am

nope, drivers don’t have the talent to not wreck, nor the balls to race back to the line.

I was rooting for Justin Haley but he crashed right there. 🙁

This was terrible racing at least in comparison to indycar ovals.

I would have liked to have seen Brad Keselowski win. Oh well.

This is the most BORING ENDING EVER. Logano was slowing down after caution and you guys just end the final lap?

Barge Lols 69 February 20, 2023 at 12:28 am

Arguably didn’t need to throw the caution for Suarez spinning right in front of pit road. I think we could’ve gone green to the end and had a much more respectable finish if it weren’t for that

He got stuck in the grass. They had to throw the yellow. I’m gutted for Kyle though. So close again.

Unfortunate Johnson got caught up, he had a solid run going.

Yeah from being lapped in every indycar race to almost winning again. Makes you wonder how low the talent level is in nascar

@Kyle986 That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Its completely different types of racing, wasn’t it Texas where Johnson got a top 5 in Indycar? He’s just so used to oval racing and big heavy stock cars, he should’nt have made the switch to Indycar.

Congrats to Stenhouse. Wow the end of another boring Great American Wreck Fest what a waste of metal and talent, the 70’s 80’s and 90’s produced better and more exciting racing, youtube is full of old racing events that are so much more fun to watch. I would like to see NASCAR racing come back to Daytona and Talladega and leave demo derby contests to the fairgrounds.

Harvick didn’t even try for 500 win at the end, cam on the car and audio show’s, from restart he slide’s back on purpose

Dang it! I wanted to see a flip! Oh well, there is always next year! Seriously though, I loved the race, despite ending under yellow. 9/10

Really really weird they used the nhl’s rule of “when the intention to blow the whistle/throw the yellow” was used for the first time ever to give an undeserving goal/win.

I was hoping Dillon would win

I’ve been watching the Daytona 500 for decades that was the most mediocre the big one I’ve ever seen especially at Daytona I guess this newer generation of car can handle crashing like that way better than the older model cars always remember at the Daytona 500 having red flag or long-duration cautions because of debris and cars just being obliterated during this historic race

When someone dies due to no rules about contact NASCAR is going to lose all the support it gained back the last few years. I’m done. I’m leaving now. I’m not going to sit here and watch someone get killed in your demo-derby sport. Y’all are sick.
