She had a really fast car in qualifying. The truck series is nothing but a wreckfest. I hope she okay.
Actually the 17 pinched her up after he was halfway past her..all on him.. She did everything she could from junking the 19 too. Impatience from JHN . or it never wouldve happened.

@3765racer I have watched the replay again it does look like Nemechek came up slightly but Deegan was also going down a little. I’m not going to put all the blame on her but she still caused the wreck. At least she is 70% why the wreck happened I’ll just leave it at that.

@J S oh no they are right she has extremely underperformed but it’s still only been 2 races in her new ride. I mean dibenedetto has squandered 2 great finishes after doing great but it’s still only 2 races a. As someone who loves this sport I hate seeing drivers getting bashed so soon. The only reason us NASCAR fans hate Danica is because she was in the top division for 6 years and did nothing. Deegan is 21 and when she started she wasnt event old enough to drink

Might have been leaking fluid but I’m not 100% sure, if that was the case Nascar wouldn’t let her drive back to avoid extending the caution and having to close pit road for cleanup
I had high hope’s the same as everyone else…this is her third year..the #88, #98, #99 were all right in there, but the #13…wrecked again! At some point you have to realize..it’s just not going to happen…she has talent, just not the talent it’s takes to complete at the top!

Austin cindric sucked for awhile I’m xfinity. Called spindric for awhile. Did they get rid of him? No. So why with her bad luck should they get rid of her? She’s proven she can have speed. Just bad luck
@Timechanger ! Let’s see here: DGR was the top Ford team in Trucks for two years and only switched to Ford because of Deegan. ThorSport is now the top Ford team because of Deegan and she still runs poorly. I think you’re the blind one here. Also Kyle Busch is always ranting on the radio about how his cars are loose and whatnot and guess what? He deals with it and has 62 Cup wins. Also with how much Ford is putting into Deegan, there is no way DGR didn’t care for her. Deegan just isn’t that good my dude. You can keep saying she is but she just isn’t. I’m sorry
She needs to get out of Trucks and head to Xfinity, she ran good that on that one opportunity she had.

The only problem is that she hasn’t had any success in trucks and if she doesn’t at least get a few top 5 and top 10’s then no one is gonna take her seriously. She will be the next Danica Patrick. An overhyped marketing tool

Deegan is NOT GOOD! She wrecks almost every race and runs mid pack in top tier equipment every race.
@TheSDagger she has always had great equipment. If she could actually keep her great equipment in the top 10, where it belongs, she wouldn’t be getting caught up in the mid pack chaos. It’s not that she causes wrecks, she just doesn’t have the talent to get out of the chaos

@Donnie Christian DGR isn’t that bad, they just have never had any great drivers. Corey Heim is the first really good driver they have had and he ran top 5 in his first non superspeedway tonight
I think one of the mid-tier Xfinity teams needs to take a chance on Deegan. I really don’t think the truck series is doing anything for her anymore. Plenty of drivers at the XFinity and Cup series levels have done just fine or even excelled without having years of truck series experience, wins, or championships under their belts. Deegan already showed that she could handle a car just fine in her one start so far.

@Chuko Wiley in 18 starts Chase Elliott has 3 truck series wins….there is absolutely NO COMPARISON to Hallie Deegan who has 3 TOP TENS IN 47 races. Do a little googling before you put out dumb takes.
@MiniMax Diesel Dude 2 of those wins came after his success in Xfinity and cup. The one that came before could be argued by some that he didn’t deserve it. I didn’t say she was the next Chase Elliott. Just stated the facts that some are meant for trucks while others aren’t.

I am sorry for Hailie Deegan because they squeezed her out that is not right because on
The NASCAR Tower made her get out and I don’t know if her car would not start back up so she had to end the race!
The truck driving down on the apron going into 1 really caused this. He got loose trying to come back up on the banking which caused everyone to check up. She avoided it without wrecking in the turn but she lost momentum and got put 4 wide coming off two. With JHN taking the air off her front left and Eckes squeezing in on her right rear just turned her truck and she didn’t have the room to try and gather it when the truck let loose. That’s honestly the most “racing” incident wreck I’ve seen in the truck series. Yet again though stage racing coming to the green/checker makes these young drivers impatient and Eckes could’ve easily let off and had everyone finish the stage but he wanted that spot that was outside the top ten and wouldn’t get any stage points!

At the end of the day we can’t put the blame on one single driver yes deegan was cut off and yes deegan then lost control of her truck. They should have never hit 4 wide when neither of then where in contention in points that said the who thing is wrong place wrong time and rather you love or hate her it wasn’t all on her. Look at every single factor everyone

As soon as the green flag dropped for this race she dropped like a rock.Not sure what the problem was but she didnt move forward at all.Something needs to happen and soon because the trucks have alot less races on the schedule than cup or xfinity.
