A fractured tibia will take months to heal, Elliott is probably going to be out of the season for quite a while, might as well have Berry be a full time driver for this year.

It would be interesting to know how they decide who gets the ride. Justin Allgaier is likely thinking – “…everyone gets a promotion except me and I am doing a bang up job…”.

Guy hasn’t ever driven a next gen. Qualifying and practice ain’t gonna do anything for learning to drive the car in a couple hours. Think you could’ve done it? Highly doubt it. But hey every nascar fan can always do better than a guy that drives race cars for a living
