@8_KBusch_RCR I haven’t watched the sport? Boy you got that wrong, I’ve watched all this since ’98, and I’ve seen it all, nearly.
@Joe Shelton if you are so versed in the sport, how can you honestly say that Denny is the worst driver in nascar history period? I personally saw my first race in 1978 at Riverside International raceway in California. There have been multitudes of worse drivers since 1998. Danica Patrick, Juan Pablo Montoya, Scott speed, just to name a few. Your header statement is nothing but your own hatred boiling over with hyperbole. Tell me how any of the drivers I named are better than Denny?
@8_KBusch_RCR well the reason I don’t like Hamlin is because he picked on some of my favorite drivers, Chase Elliott is one of them, and I can’t remember the rest. Plus I know Hamlin has won 3 Daytona 500’s, but he has never won a lousy championship to be honest. Plus I don’t the answer to your great questions, but they’re good ones no doubt about it.

Here’s a question you can answer: do you think Chase Elliot, or any other driver you like that Hamlin has “picked on” needs your help defending them? It only makes you look bad to speak with anger and hyperbole, especially if it is a subject that you only have limited knowledge on. You can be angry all you want about the issue, but speak carefully. “It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt” I hope your favorite drivers do well this year, and I thank you for your participation in this conversation.
What they gave Hamlin was a joke, an absolute joke. He should of gotten a bigger fine, more points taken away and definitley should of been suspended for a couple of races.

@Mag1c Man unwarranted retaliation should not be joked about. What he said it was about the clash. If you put retaliation for racing as a warranted retaliation then you have no order. Denny did what he wanted and didn’t even think. He has had no right at all this year to do that. What happened at the clash was racing period. It was not intentional and does not warrant retaliation. Time to let it go. It’s bull to go chasing old grudges.

Nothing a couple of wins can’t fix. No worries for the 5 and 48. The 24 is still in. 31 won’t recover since Haley is a mid packer anyway
I think they don’t overturn might reduce the sentence so to speak but if you look at it, they did break the rules regardless as to why they altered it .
Denny Hamlin should have just kept those comments to himself.
With the mickey mouse points system in which you can win 35 races and still lose the title I fail to see how hitting them with points is effective. All that matters since 2014 is the winning races. Nobody cares about winning a Mickey title or “playoffs”like they use to when the points system was credible from 2003 on back. Hendrick won this despite the penalties.
But they WOULD have qualified and raced with them had they not gotten caught. They are guilty of trying to cheat.
What is the point of suspension of the crew chiefs if they can still communicate with the team/driver?
