Then when it’s “done” before he can get it it agains blows up. And refuses to call out that crap shop for being shady and just plain dumb.

Just rotate the fuses , they tend to get some corrosion on the contact face then they don’t make contact! the ignition box looks similar to an old Porsche 911 ignition box
I’m not sure where it is on this car but I’d bet on the earth strap being loose or corroded. If it was a fuse you’d be getting some dash lights, something. But no earth and you’ll get nothing at all.
My old BMW had the same fuses. Part of my routine when I changed the oil was to rotate those stupid fuses. Once in a while pull them, and a quick sanding.
