You’re point about people moving nearby a race track is very valid. Unfortunately that’s why many tracks no longer exist like Myrtle Beach. What happened to Myrtle Beach is a travesty.

@Jeff Gordon fan. Actually, the sale for the land to be used for condos and shops fell through. So the racetrack, or what’s left of it that is. Is rotting away as we speak.

Not just the US. Tracks in Australia have closed due to noise complaints to council, yet they were there when they moved in. Classic example of beating these complaints is Luna Park in Sydney, a good read if you have time
