People are always complaining about the sport having no personality, but it does. Problem is all of the old-school type drivers with a personality are driving crapboxes so they can’t get noticed. Like Josh Williams. It was pretty cool and funny seeing him do that

That or the classic guys are making political bs, retired… or ya know.. dead.

My husband said pretty much the same thing. They’ll ban or suspend him because he HAS a personality!

They told him to park it. So, he did.

It’s not the end of the race until which Xfinity Driver wins the race on Atlanta Speedway.

I mean, he DID park his car!!!

Stephen Holloway March 19, 2023 at 3:32 am

They didn’t say where he could park it either. But yeah don’t be surprised if he gets more penalties by Wednesday.

Penalty was a little harsh. I saw plenty of other people have debris fall off the car today and didn’t get penalized

The best middle finger to nascar yet. These damn rules are getting ridiculous and more drivers should start fighting back.

Well I’m 22. And I agree. It gets annoying hearing they’ve “gone soft” a million times a week but it’s true. I’ve seen so many bullshit calls in the past few years that it’s embarrassing introducing people to the sport. A little bit after this and how awkward the racing was today I fucked off to watch the rest of 12h of Sebring. Best decision I made honestly. That’s great racing.

It was a peace sign

Reply
DarkBlade March 19, 2023 at 11:25 am

@Smokey Hills outdoors the parking his car on the finish line was equivalent to flipping them off.

From here on, he will be known as “Walkoff Williams”. NASCAR gets their Game 7 moment in the middle of a caution fiasco.

Reply
Michael Ervolina March 19, 2023 at 12:43 am

Good for him, bring some excitement to NASCAR.

Reply

Reply
Dark Matter March 19, 2023 at 1:08 am

I applaud this guy. Nascar wouldn’t do this to a top tier team. I think he is sticking it to nascar for the drivers.

Reply
Matt C March 19, 2023 at 2:22 pm

Yeah absolutely and he was funny af and the fans loved it so nascar can’t punish him as harshly lmao

Reply
memphisleftovers March 19, 2023 at 1:46 am

Thanks for showing Nascar, much respect to you.
