After rain on Friday, the Atlanta Speedway was ready for the Fr8 208 in Atlanta for NASCAR Truck Series action on Saturday. After over 8 cautions during the race, and multiple wrecks Christian Eckes held the lead in overtime and claimed his second career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

i thought the race would have been over anyways… caution came out on final lap.. so i thought the next flag ends the race or is that just in Overtime hahah i forget… maybe thats just overtime…
@benton323232 It all depends where the caution comes out and where the leader is at the moment figuring he was or wasn’t able to cross the line in time.
@Paparoachfanalways no, it was the last lap. That’s the “line”.
Once the leader crosses the line and gets the white flag, the next flag ends the race. Yellow or checkered.

How long before they just ban JHN? He wrecks somebody pretty much every race, doesn’t matter if he’s in truck, xfinity, or cup. I guess he fits in with some of the others that are only in a ride because of their last name…

I thought Eckes wouldn’t do good this season because he doesn’t have as good as equipment as he did with ThorSport. Guess I was wrong lol.
