Yikes.. a very true statement however.
To be fair NASCAR didn’t say where to park it
Wonder if there’s a better way to make bearbond stick better in cold conditions like they were Saturday….
Heating it up is all you need to do,they were just in a hurry, obviously. But they should’ve taken the time to do that.
@Bones Does I’m sure there’s other methods or even another possibile material every problem has at least two solutions just a matter of what’s feasible
This type of statement is why NASCAR is losing fans. They don’t care about anything except money. The way they treat big teams and small teams are complete opposites.
1 single driver, increases ratings for the sport. and nascar will probably end his career – 2 drivers continually wreck each other week in and week out- effecting “The outcome of the race”… and — they get re-signed for decades…
when will we realize nascar rules are written by sponsors not actual racing experts, Nascar loves throwing cautions in order to increase the chances of a big wreck, to the point of breaking up what should be 1 race into 3 segments therefore guaranteeing 2 things… one “caution breed cautions” you created 3 points to create chaos, and two creat situation where different sponsors will have a chance to lead the race provided by the rules (pit before they close pit road at the end of each segment OR… lead- for a random championship point but restart in the back …
Williams was doing what Nascar wanted – both bringing out a caution and increases ratings, but he isn’t part of the big 5. so they wanted him off the track. he wasn’t the only one to shed part to bring out a caution – but he was the only one to get parked for it
I love it when the driver’s give NASCAR the big middle finger.
He’ll fit in at his local short track real good after this
“THOSE ACTIONS” Have gotten yall thousands of more viewer’s so here lets penalize him/fine him, bring back real “stock car” racing and get rid of the dumb rules we want racing not drama
NASCAR, just admit that you were frustrated with the over abundance of cautions and took out your frustration on Josh.
Bingo
Ok but if they handle it like how you’re saying to handle it, all you’ll say to them is “ight we hear ya” and then proceed to do nothing about it. You guys are no better than retail managers that don’t care about their employees.
Don’t you dare penalize him, that was AWESOME!!!
I think the better question in this is if that had been a JRM or JGR or a big money team would the same call of have been made? That’s my only issue
Shouldn’t have parked him for that Mr. Tom Sawyer
Anytime a driver does something to wind up the fans in a frenzy of applause, NASCAR should reward them rather than being insulted by it.
They have more rules than viewers every race and it’s ruining the sport
There should have been a warning about the tape!
The problem on waiting until after the race for any issues is that the problem is made and the race is over, doesn’t help the drivers that get screwed over on the bad calls
He should rewarded for sticking it up for drivers that are tire of Nascar making dumb decisions
