Jenson Button sat down in the Circuit of The Americas media center on Friday and explained that hopping from one motorsport to the next has a bit of a learning curve.

Jenson Button debut at Circuit of the America
Finally a brit in the cup series! DO US PROUD JENSON!
Joey hand was British
@JAD LYNN American
Any other British nascar fans here? I am one
Good luck to you bud
Who is he of his experience?
You should delete this comment, it brings great shame on NASCAR.
@Jonesy I don’t think it does tbh, I’m British and an F1 fan all my life. I recently got into nascar, I had no idea who Petty was, or Jimmie Johnson or Legano or anyone famous. Only ones I knew was Dale and Jr. That’s it. I think it just highlights we don’t know each others races
2009 Formula 1 World Champion. Beat Lewis Hamilton (arguable GOAT) in equal machinery.
2009 F1 Champion
Beat 7 time champ Lewis Hamilton once in the same machinery (only few drivers ever done so like Nico Rosberg and George Russell)
2018 SUPER GT Champion (With Naoki Yamamoto)
Several LMP1 Drives with SMP Racing in WEC
Some Experience as well in RallyCross
I’d say he has got plenty of it elsewhere!
Welcome to NASCAR, Jenson. Let’s have some fun!
De fórmula 1 a la Nascar
Love Jenson. Been a fan since BrawnGP days
Me, been a fan since Bar Honda days (2003). 😉
@IROCMAN666 i’m her fan Williams 2000)))
“LAZY” in some ways! What a jerk
Compared to an F1 car or sports car a Nascar doesn’t have the steering response, braking ability, downforce or mechanical grip that he would be use to. Lazy is exactly the term…
He means the feel of the car. They are almost agricultural compared to gt3.
Bro he’s talking about the way the cars handle, not the drivers.
Even despite the change from Gen6 to NextGen, the cars are still heavy and still have relatively small brake calipers. They don’t have much downforce and rely almost exclusively on mechanical grip for road courses. So they don’t respond easily to steering input. ‘Lazy’ is the perfect term to describe the handling, you’re taking it out of context and getting offended over nothing.
Bro do you not listen? Or do you just want to hear, what you want to hear?
If nascar teams don’t think that your drivers are good enough for all the races then maybe get out.
