My sons birthday was today so I missed much of the race. I peaked at one point and saw Reddick with a 19 second lead. Dude was driving like he was running hooch.
Ehh I mean that was primarily because of strategy. Reddick was on a 2 stop and the guys ahead of him had pitted. He had to pit some laps later and he came out in like 6th or so
@Ian Perry Yeah, I didn’t see the subsequent pit. I walked in and saw the lead and then the pit and lose that track position. I really believed with all my soul that Dinger had this race in the bag. But like I said, there’s a lot I missed.
long beach would have to be double header w indy bc that area when the race is not on is absolutely packed as hell i just think it would be difficult to try and set it up compared to the clout that indy has being a continually operated open wheel race that has roots all the way to f1 in the 70s
I don’t understand why nascar can’t just have a rule that says the final 5-10% of the laps must start under green. That way, you have the final lap at least starting under green to try and not end the race on a caution yet avoid all the overtime crap.
I think it was the 1st Road Course race that went to triple overtime, I think its happened on SuperSpeedways but I don’t think that’s happened on Road Courses, By the way did you hear Mike Joy Kind of cuss on air late in the race I was a bit surprised cause I’ve never heard a PBP person curse like that, even if its not that bad, still I was a bit surprised cause I’ve never heard him say that on air. I’m glad though Reddick won especially with Kurt Busch in his 1st on camera booth appearance since his crash at Pocono, that ended his full time career, But I couldn’t blame him for being emotional towards the end of the race. It was more fun of a race then what happened with Both UT and UH losing in the NCAA Tournament to MIAMI!!!. Had to bring that up.
Stenhouse’s Daytona win not a fluke now has a Road Course Top 10 for the 1st time in Cup, Big Top 10’s too, for Ty Gibbs, and Gilliland, and LaJoie both with strong Top 11’s.
As a Canadian fan I’d love to see them at CTMP, don’t get me wrong the pintys series by all means brings the thunder but to see these drivers and cars on canadian asphalt would be a treat, although attendance wouldn’t compare to road courses in the USA I feel like fans are warming up to road courses and I personally wouldn’t be opposed to seeing more on the schedule

Yes!!!
No stage cautions
Definitely not race of the year – Nothing is yet.
How do we “know” that wreck wasn’t Bubbas fault? He said it was a mistake. I think I’ll take him at his word
He basically admitted to missing the braking zone.
It was a wreck fest, not the greatest track for tanks, too many hairpins.

I was there on turn 12 it was a pretty sick race m8
Same
Great 98% of a race
Brad Keselowski almost single handedly messed up this whole race. Bro needs to figure it out for road courses or just retire.
Race of the year so far. Too bad we have so many super speedways, no talent tracks.

It just needs to end at scheduled distance.
These drivers lose their minds, and professionalism when they know they have unlimited attempts at another restart.
Was it just me or was there a crap load of commercials during the broadcast? I felt like it dragged on.

Kurt should commentate for Fox the rest of their schedule
