Daniel Suarez will get some sort of penalty. Thank you Elton Sawyer for not ignoring this.

Should be the same fine Gibbs got last year.

agreed though what ty jesus did was actually a little worse

Gibbs incident was worse

So bush league. They call themselves professionals, yet their actions are those of an upset pre teen.

It should be a 1 race suspension honestly, This sort of pit road behaviour that has happened in the past has not had punishments fit the crime enough, and this should be the best chance for NASCAR to make that change.

ty jesus didn’t get a suspension so if asscar wants to be consistent they’ll fine him money n points.

@OiBoiOi @Aaron Elijah Colyer was likely referring to the Ty Dillon incident.

@FMecha i don’t remember ty dillion being suspended for a race for retaliation on pit road.. am i missing something?

@Aaron Elijah Colyer Ty Gibbs hit Ty Dillon at TMS’ pit road last year – NASCAR fined Gibbs for that.

@FMecha okay i thought you meant dillion did something… i remember ty jesus hitting someone i just forgot who it was…

It’s going to be a fine and points penalty most likely. That’s what happened to ty jesus though his incident last year was way worse

Maybe penalize people who wreck others for a spot on the track.. there’s no repercussions

That’s not illegal, that’s hard racing, as long as you’re not doing something that endangers someone’s life or just something recklessly dangerous in general. This incident, and Hamlin’s, wasn’t.

this too… all the wrecking for position made the race terrible to watch, 3 ot restarts was too much

Reply
Pankypops March 28, 2023 at 3:38 pm

@Aaron Elijah Colyer If there was no battling for positions and some rubbing, NASCAR would be as boring as F1, where just one team dominates all day with their cheat machines.

@Pankypops I guess that you never saw GT racing… Go figure that those guys driving GT3, GT4, LMH, etc. can pass without wrecking each others? truly amazing

@Pankypops there’s a huge difference between bumping and rubbing and driving through people intentionally wrecking them for position. Kimi Raikkonen was 4th and got spun by some ahole driving into him. I’m fine with rubbing and bumping I’m not fine with the level of disrespect shown by some NASCAR drivers.

No damage occured to either cars and nascar painted the drivers in a box with this new car there consistency policy consists of fia rules let’s be fair that’s what it all boils down to if you intentionally wreck or slam someone now nascar is gonna nickel and dime the teams more on top of what they’re already paying the daily cost for a race team is unreal but greed has spoiled the sport

Easy penalty. Dont care if you do it on track, not in the pits tho. There are people all around you. You dont know if the 48 will spin out or not.
