Uh-oh… Now I really smell a penalty…
@Calibre32 Almeidapossibly, but consistency isn’t an argument when it comes to nascar lol
@Calibre32 Almeida true
But if a comment on a podcast can get you in trouble nowadays (* Cough cough* Dennis), this most certainly does
@Calibre32 Almeida True, but that was 2014 NASCAR, this is 2023 NASCAR. It’s a different NASCAR everyday let alone each year. lol
@Calibre32 Almeida he and Tony both got a fine, Tony for reversing back into brad
@Calibre32 Almeida The only consistency NASCAR has is being consistently inconsistent.
Ross got pushed by the 14 into the 48, which went into the 99. Daniel needs to watch replays before starting arguments like this
And his spotter should have told him what happened but the spotter is just as dumb as the driver.
This time it was not Ross’s fault but you can tell he has that reputation if his own teammate just assume it was intentional right away.
What driver watches replays before the get out of the car or before they do an interview?? Name that driver.
@Jesse Daly no one, but that’s not the point. When you have no idea who to blame most drivers always say they gotta see a replay first. You don’t start fussing at random people without knowing the whole story first, because if you were wrong you look like a clown..
@Dillon Berry heat of the moment isn’t an excuse when you’re driving machines capable of injuring and killing. It’s called immaturity.
Sounds like Chastain said at 1 point don’t be high and mighty.
@nxlxn
Talking about what went on, on Pit Road….
@nxlxn
When 99 chased the Chastain and Bowman down on the cool down lap…
He said, “Don’t be all high and mighty… you know how I race.”
@Retro Cars Forever Definitely not this year. It seems like he’s doing something to piss people off every week.
Suarez announced he would get them & he did coming into pit road. If that’s not a penalty, then NASCAR needs to reassess some stuff.
@The Spotter’s Stand I think your perspective is off, that was controlled bumping. Still, penalty would be understandable since there was an official nearby. But please don’t make the bumps sound more dramatic than they were. Do you remember Blaney spinning Suarez on cool down at Indy or Roval last year? Suarez was basically in the same position as Bowman was here at COTA.
Then maybe NASCAR would have penalized him.
I think NASCAR uploading this video is their way of justifying whatever penalty they are going to throw at Suárez.
@sinnuh Hope so, then they can laugh Hamlin outta his appeal for walling Chastain & admitting it was on purpose in his podcast.
@bucky13 Yup, could’ve turned one of them into the crowd. Wasn’t a smart move at all, imo.
Please NASCAR make the 2023 season available in my country (new zealand) this channel still hasn’t allowed me to watch last week’s Atlanta races from the xfinity and truck races and the COTA races I. Waiting for them also, PLEASE NASCAR MAKE THESE AVAILABLE FOR MY COUNTRY AT THE SAME TIME AS THEY GET UPLOADED PLEASE
@Stefano94 lol yup
If you want I can stream the race live for you
@iHateRacing ah that would be amazing buddy yes please are you able to stream all 3 series Or just the cup races?
Love how they have sponsors on wiper blades now
anywhere and everywhere
I smell a penalty for making intentional contact on pit road incoming
Should be a suspension with all those people on pit road.
i love him being mad about being hit as he was hitting the 8 when he got clobbered
barely hit the 8 and he was focusing on what the 48 and 1 were doing
I understand that Suarez is frustrated since he was literally running in the top 5 like mostly half the race.
Like his team said, he could’ve dealt with it later though. Well, guess he wanted to talk about it sooner.
The 19 got the short end of that stick !!!
Yeah, that sucked.
With Jimmie racing at COTA i forgot the 48 was Bowman and not Johnson
So did Boyer in the booth momentarily
Even his spotter was like it wasn’t it was a mess my guy wasn’t anyone’s fault lol
they have the whole field dive bombing that first corner hitting everyone else etc etc, what the F Suarez! Literally everyone leaning on someone else there and his spotter was perfectly correct in his response. I hope he gets a penalty for that shot on the 48 entering a live pit lane full of people
I love how briscoe got away with pushing the 1 Into the 48 which made Suarez pissed at both and pull a vintage KB
Spotter: we could always address it later.
Daniel: We’re addressing it now
I got the NASCAR app and watched Suarez car view for most of the race. He always seemed to have the best view of the battle for the top 4 positions. He absolutely deserved a top 5 and the ridiculous amount of overtime restarts was what took him out.
