It was the right call by NASCAR. What Daniel Suarez did was unacceptable.

Just when they say the penalty for Hendrick was overturned!

I find it funny how yall said the HMS penalty was to harsh when it happened. But when they appealed it and won, yall are mad that they did. Nascar fans make me sick.

@ChaseTPS Give nascar fans a week and they’ll be complaining about something else. You just watch.

He is so lucky you should have been parked for at least one race. All these drivers on a cool-down lap either unbuckle or loosen off there seatbelts and if we watch the video we will notice that the cars have the window Nets down $50,000 should have been parked

Fines don’t seem to work anymore maybe it’s time to get their attention by handing out suspensions. Who knows a couple of races off just might do the trick.

Tell him to get the Hendrick attorneys, I am sure it would be reduced. Oh wait, he hit a Hendrick car never mind.

I’m pretty sure a $50k is absolutely nothing compared to what these drivers earn at the top level. Far too lenient if you ask me.

It probably takes out about 1% of his salary.

Bro Bowman just dive bombed him and he never got a penalty. Wow

I think the difference is that happens all the time and they were on track… not post race in a pit lane

Reply
Keaton Prevette March 29, 2023 at 10:27 pm

He got pushed into him

I think this should have been a 100K fine. He really could have hurt some people on pit road.

Money doesn’t hurt but sitting out a race sends a message. Someone could get hurt on pit lane. unacceptable.

Gibbs did the same thing last year and got points taken away. Why is this different?

Not only that, Hamlin’s penalty is more severe and what he did was during the race? This is stupid, absolutely stupid.

I’m a big Daniel Suárez fan but I think he deserved that penalty and I hope he learns from it to be better at the next race

Reply
JackLikesTrackhouse March 30, 2023 at 2:12 am

About the same penalty Gibbs got last year, so at least they’re consistent.

I think Suarez should be parked for at least 1 race cause, bumping someone on pit road is dangerous and could injure people. Honestly Nascar made a L decision just to leave him with a $50,000 fine. Man I do love nascar but the sport is going down.
