Larson finally didn’t get screwed out of a win this year. Let’s go Young Money!
Kyle Larson gets his 20th career Cup series win
This is Larson’s 2nd win at the Richmond Raceway in the Cup series
This is the 59th time the #5 has won in the Cup series.
Victory Kyle Larson 2:41
Chandler with that quiet 17th is damn impressive
@Lil Twizz I’m Serious Though,C.Smith Is So Much More Better Than Halie Or Allmendinger On Short Tracks,I Mean His First Start In A Cup Car At Richmond And He Finished Better Than The 16 & 31
@NASCAR FAN Allmendinger may be out after this season, he is up there in age.
@NASCAR FAN Keyword: On SHORT TRACKS.
@NASCAR FAN Definitely Allmendinger. He’s been pretty irreverent being full time and I doubt he will still be full time in 2025. Haley isnt going anywhere
@NASCAR FAN it’s just been one race as of now, though. you can’t judge a driver just from one race, but i will admit, i think smith should replace allmendinger when he retires
Yess sir congrats to Larson and Berry for 2nd let’s Goooo
Let’s go finally. On Ricky Hendricks birthday too. Congrats to Berry on an awesome finish!
Well now that you mentioned it, I’m not mad anymore.
Both Zane Smith and Chandler Smith finished 17th in their Cup debuts
Congratulations Kyle Larson great win for Chevrolet
Congrats Berry on that runner up spot being a relief driver and another top 5 for Ross!!
Thank you for posting this!
Glad to see Larson get the win ( he must have won the draw to get the best one of Hendricks cars for this race) and also he did it without the controversial hood louvers! If Larson has a good car under him he will win on asphalt or dirt .I went from Jimmy Johnson to Kyle Larson as my favorite driver. I have been keeping my eye on Chastain also since his incredible video game wall ride. I have watched it 5 or 6 times and it still doesn’t seem real. It compares to Dale’s pass in the grass move. Of course Dale had many more crazy races but Chastain should have a lot of years left and he is aggressive like Dale. Larson has made some crazy moves also and if someone doesn’t take him out he will be up front at least in the top 3. Racing on dirt thru the week and switching to asphalt and a much heavier car on Sunday with no issues shows off his driving ability.
hey Mcdowell gets a top 10 finish let’s go!
Congrats to Kyle and team on their victory. I was able to get some free tickets as well nascar experience tickets through my girlfriend who’d never gone before. We ended up staying on the inside of the track and she thoroughly enjoyed going and seeing something new. To see her face when the cars came roaring by was awesome…. She said, I can feel the vibrations in my chest…all in all it was a great day for a race.
I got free tickets for four of us and “Essential Worker” passes for the infield. That included the garage area and the pits – pretty much anywhere. We were invited to the driver’s meeting and met the governor of VA. Got a standing ovation from all the drivers and others – because they were honoring my son who was killed in Iraq back in Jan 2005. (Lcpl. Karl Linn) NASCAR treats the families well.
One of our party is a refugee from Afghanistan who barely got out. He was amazed by all of it.
Josh Berry deserves a cup ride. What a day for him!
Feels nostalgic having Larry Mac back in the booth!
1st race I’d seen at RIR in 20 years and had a great time and was a beautiful day and a great race as well.
Congratulations Kyle
