If you are going to run dirt , have teams build a super late model , otherwise stay on pavement or concrete.

NASCAR management sucks. I hope the teams align and form a new league and leave NASCAR with nothing.

use a sheepsfoot roller on the clay so the water has holes to go into the clay instead of just running off

Clay doesn’t absorb liquid. They use it to line toxic dumps.

Racing on the dirt should happen more often.

“we’re not going to make this a one-off car for here” he says as they actively create a unique tire compound for this race and make major edits to the underbody that will only be used for this race

I think a “car” is made up of more than tires and aero…

Amiezon Prime April 6, 2023 at 5:56 am

@Triton54 a unique undertray makes this car about as much of a “one-off” as a chickenwire windshield would

I THINK THESE CARS ARE TO MUCH MONEY TO RUN ON DURT . SINE CHARLES MAXWELL .

It’s not that hard to take out the windshields and put in a window cage

I still don’t understand why NASCAR won’t just run at an actual dirt track.

Reply
Yeah hoo roo April 6, 2023 at 11:58 am

Because they need a dirt track facility that can fit the amount of fans that come out to watch the cup series races in person. Most likely..

Presley McKinley April 6, 2023 at 9:35 am

No… y’all should DEFINITELY take out the windshield and put a proper structure there . If you aren’t going to do a one off fix then don’t do the one off dirt race.
