Hendrick Motorsports has been nailed again with another massive penalty to both the #24 team and William Byron as well as the #48 team and driver Alex Bowman. While not as massive as the 100 point penalties for the hood louvers a few weeks back this one still is major both for the short term standings as well as the long term championship Playoff aspect. For many the question now is will it stick this time or be appealed successfully again. Tonight we look at all of this as Hendrick Motorsports slammed with another huge penalty…

Do you think Hendrick will win another appeal?
They should – NASCAR is so butthurt
The penalty will be appealed and everyone on the appeal panel will leave with fatter wallets
No rick Kendrick was suspended from mascara for a few years over mail fraud so he’s not a perfect person how do u think he made his money?
I hope not, but they probably will win.
Yes, they’ll win the appeal again. I think due to the fact NASCAR is saying the 24 and 48 were the “two random cars” that are selected from the field after every race. Yeah nobody believes that. Cause the 5 and 9 were checked as well due to finishing 1st and 2nd. So NASCAR was obviously biased in the cars that were “randomly” chosen.
It’s only 1/5 of the season in and already multiple penalties have been issued.
CAN THE MADNESS END ALREADY?????
@Beautiful Angel Blossom Or… You can start being able to tell the difference between being fair and lynching.
I wouldn’t count on it.
@Beautiful Angel Blossom You can stop being a bonafide Hendrick hater. You just want to see them crumble do ya? I bet you got excited when you heard Chase got injured. Come on, admit it, “angel”.
Here, let me call the script writers………they said no
how does this affect Ross Chastain’s legacy?
Because It’s Ross Chastain’s Fault
Com on this is Ross Chastain we talking about he is always getting blame for something.
Remember when Ross Chastain bombed Pearl Harbor and drove his car through the Twin Towers?
@GoodOl’Roll the real question, can race fuel melt steel beams?
It puts him in the points lead
This has appeal has the feeling of “accept this, and it ends here.”
I mean it doesn’t affect crew chiefs (regular crew chiefs will be back anyway, and current ones suspended after this week), 5 and 9 are safe for now. It’s like Nascar made it harsh enough to get their point across, but not harsh enough to have a real impact.
Soon we’ll have tire changers acting as crew chiefs!
I don’t know the details yet but somehow I believe Chastain is behind this…
It did put him in the points lead again, so…
NASCAR: You get a penalty, you get a penalty, everyone gets a penalty
More like them saying that:
NASCAR: Oh you won the appeal? Too bad, here is another one cause we can.
me: reverse uno card
I think, by the time they’ve all been hit with penalties, you might as well just say “Right. All of Hendric Motorsports, you’re banned for one race”
IMO NASCAR’s lack of credibility is more of a problem than teams like Hendrick Motorsports allegedly cheating
nascar looks super petty here, going to inspect until they found something, and they did change the rules so the appeals panel cant drop the points
“YOU get a penalty and YOU get a penalty and YOU get a penalty-“
They seem to be out to get Hendrick and I just find it ironic that Hendrick won their appeal and then this comes out.
You know, I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if the Garage 56 Le Man’s car suffers from this. This is crazy man. And it’s all Ross Chastains fault.
This entire saga has turned into an episode of Days of Our Lives lmfao
NASCAR is handing out penalties like how Oprah used to hand out cars on her show.
The bad part about the modified greenhouse is that they ran this car throughout the Richmond race and got screwed by the officials and inspectors.
At this point, all these teams are going to have to build their cars in front of Nascar’s eyes
Or NASCAR brings the cars to the track, randomly assigns them to teams who can then wrap them and fit the seats in them. I say that in jest knowing with the way things are going someone at NASCAR is reading this and thinking, “That’s not a bad idea…”
