Of course a leech won. At least it wasn’t Byron tho and we’ll probably get a cool diecast out of this. Anyway Honeycutt and Garcia have been impressive this year. I had no idea Garcia was gonna be as good as he has been. Honeycutt also stole the show with his impressive performance as he has been doing his entire career so far lol. Overall, great race imo. 8/10
@Mickey Byron especially to those people who think you are “ignorant”, when you’re pointing out the facts. God I can’t stand this Community most days.
@Brian Griffin Family Guy Fan I’m not surprised. They’re NASCAR fans. They’re the same people who tell people that the Rebel flag is just a flag but also get mad over rainbows lmfao.
@Mickey Byron someone told me to go f myself in here after I said to them a USAC driver passed away in a crash tonight, because he doesn’t follow USAC Racing? Plus he called me “ignorant” with how I was pointing out the facts for people to understand about how I feel about Cup drivers in lower Series, even though I sent out my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Oh the irony is real, you can’t make it up. That’s the whole Community wrapped up in one sentence from one fan to another.
@Brian Griffin Family Guy Fan Go figure
@Mickey Byron yep. This Community is doomed I tell ya.
Joey Logano gets his 2nd career Truck series win.
This is Logano’s 1st win at the dirt version of Bristol Motor Speedway in the Truck series
This is the 4th time the #66 has won in the Truck series
Nice facts!
hailie got 13th i mean its not bad at all its still better than nothing but I think they gone the wrong way with the adjustments and just couldn’t get it back
Just glad she didn’t wreck out again she’s on a good string of runs!
@Yoink OinkFIXED…. Just glad she didn’t GET wreck out again she’s on a good string of runs!
@J D that literally what they said…. What you fixing?
@Flagler America they were pointing out that there’s a difference between being a poor driver and taking yourself out or causing a big wreck and just being in the wrong place at the wrong time and being stuck in the middle of an accident.
@notmyrealname exactly the same thing if I crashed one way versus another it’s still a crash. Sure they’re many ways to crash but a crash is still a crash so same difference in my eyes.
It ain’t the Truck Series without a Cup guy winning one of the races. It’s pretty much the Cup Series, used with Trucks.
Extreme take, but I see your point
I don’t think it’s an extreme take it up I agree with him… I think all the cup guys need to stay with cup then it’s a real truck race then it’s a real Xfinity race
Definitely another solid day for Hailie. I’m glad to finally see her race week after week and not get involved in any major wrecks.
Justin G, she’s currently 19th.
Which is a lot better than she was this time around last year if I’m not mistaken. Also she is currently 16 in the truck series. Thorsports is currently 19.
MY DAD IS ON JOEY’S TEAM LETS FUCKING GIOOO
That’s awesome
What does he do?
@Jason1Pa he is the left tire changer, and main body repair at ThorSport
rear changer, my bad
Logano DOMINATES to the FINISH!!
Blaney and Logano take the W together!!
Awesome race!!
Not the biggest Deegan fan but she did have a solid race. Well done.
@TIm G At one point, she was 19th. She finished 13 after a few trucks crashed. Thus, your comment is false. “Honey Bunny”? WTF is that all about, PUTZ?
@sergeantmasson3669 you’re only mad at her because she supports Trump. Former president Trump
@Sergeant Massonfrankly not surprised she triggers you weekly
I’ll never get the people who enjoy Cup drivers taking away wins from Truck or Xfinity regulars as well for those drivers to take away the spotlight from them. This race was dull anyways, it was either Logano pulling out a big jump on the restart or people wrecking and crashing. These people got to be looking through a glass, I swear. At least Yeley getting 3rd in the Cup race will be remembered from today the most. They can say all they want about how this good and such stuff, but that’ll never change my mind on how I feel about this. Johnny Sauter last year at Martinsville could’ve saved his career, but Byron had to be in the race, which took the win away from him.
You can’t take something away from someone that they didn’t have.
@Nomad Man I mean if they are going for the win, and most of the drivers in the field, needs the win. Another thing they need to have is the spotlight. When you add Cup drivers into the mix, with that in mind, they take it all away from the young drivers. If you are a Champion of Cup especially, you do not need to be in Xfinity or Trucks. I hope this information helped at least a bit.
@Brian Griffin Family Guy Fan No one is owed the spotlight. It’s not a matter of needing to race in the other series, it’s wanting to and sometimes it’s to help a team out. I’ve been a NASCAR fan since I was 5, that’s over 30 years. I remember the days when the Cup guys used to race with the Xfinity guys every weekend and it wasn’t just 1 or 2, but half a dozen of them and sometimes more. They won a lot then too, but they also made the racing better. The other drivers want to race against those guys. They want to see how they stack up against the best of the best.
If they “take it all away from the young drivers,” then how did all the young guys in cup now get any of the spotlight? How did they get it in years past when there would be 10 Cup guys in a given Xfinity race? They went out and performed week in and week out. They earned the spotlight by their consistent performances over time. Cup guys are limited now and have been for several years.
Should Larson go drive in WoO races? I mean, he’s a top level driver, so isn’t he taking the spotlight away fron other WoO drivers just by being there? Or is he shining a spotlight on the series as a whole? Maybe if the Cup guys were more involved in the other series, they would get more fans to attend the races or watch on tv. There’s more than one way for someone to get a spotlight.
@Nomad Man one could argue that the stupidity and lack of respect at the cup level comes from a decade of trying to limit the cup drivers from racing against these guys.
@Ash Ketchums Dad There could be something to that.
If there is a cup series driver in the truck series he most likely is going to win. I’m Sick and tired of seeing cup series drivers win instead of truck series drivers.
Same. I should stop watching the races the Cup drivers are in for Xfinity and Trucks.
In all fairness, Joey is mainly doing this to get some extra practice in for the Cup race.
@ParadoxOfCrota if it’s someone like Jonathan who was in this race, that would be fine, but if it’s a 2 time *champion*, we’ve got an issue. Logano does not need to be Trucks anymore.
@ParadoxOfCrotaa lot of cup drivers are using the truck and Xfinity series to get extra practice in. It’s not fair because you know they are probably going to win over a Xfinity or truck series driver.
@Justin G why you ask? Because 20 minutes of Practice isn’t enough time that why. That literally a warmup session.
Solid day for Deegan ibelieve that 13 team will only get better as the season progresses…
top 15 for deegan, shes putting together a solid season
chrisw443, ROFLMAO
idk about that one chief
Did Logano already have a truck win? If so now he has won in all three top series…multiple times.
Yes. He already had a truck win. Martinsville.
2015 in a Brad Keselowski Racing truck.
Another W for Logano! Cool that Blaney was his spotter lol
Jake Garcia with a nice 6th place. Pretty good for being 18.
Gooey Toupee wins the day!
This Looks Like So Much Fun Don’t Know Why People Don’t Wanna Come Back Here
It’s improved. Not a tire burning dust bowl
Hot take, the “names are made here” advertisement was the worst thing nascar ever tried to do. If you are in a national touring series, you shouldn’t be treated like a Jr league. Nobody would be honest with you if they said the truck series is better now than it was circa 2006. You had career drivers then, often veteran journeymen who made the series better. A slogan like “names are made here” moves away from that. Teams want younger drivers. Instead of trying to go get a JJ Yeley or someone like that. I mean, we saw what happened to Arca after Kimmel left. It isn’t crazy to think that we are a Matt Crafton retirement away from that happening in trucks. The only thing that could help with things in the future would be guys like Logano or KB running a few races a year. That veteran presence is needed on a national level, it will help drivers learn about the craft itself, at the very least. I guess this is a long winded way of saying, If nascar doesn’t change the culture from the fans about cup drivers dropping down, and career truck/Xfinity guys, we are going to continue to see cars laps down crashing at the end of a race
Matty D with a top 10! Great job!
