The officiating was off task in this race. So is the camerawork.

The camera constantly missed most that happens. Someone was a bit slow today.

A dirt race is cool but not if you don’t get to see most of the action because of poor camera coverage and split screen shots with 6 laps to go

Fox has got to do better. There’s no excuse for them missing so many shots week after week

they know what we all do — it just doesn’t matter. you’ll keep watching, & you’ll keep complaining. nascar. now what does dale jr’s marketing arm of nascar startup podcaster think about this

So sad how empty those stands are. I remember in the 80s we had to buy tickets a year in advance to even get into the race. I think Cleetus McFarland crown Vic races there have bigger crowds. 🙁

The stages was a good choice from nascar

Look at the september night race from this past year. The stands weren’t completley sold out, but they were pretty damn close.
It shows that Bristol can still capture the hearts of hundreds of thousands.

why does the nbc highlight have mcdowell’s recover but not this one? all the money being paid to these networks and they cant even show actual highlights…

Good race; glad I got to see it in person. I don’t understand why these highlights don’t show Larson’s two wrecks, those were pretty pivotal moments.

I’m usually poking around Reddit on race day, and I consistently notice a discrepancy between TV viewers and attendees. What I’ve realized is between myriad commercials, sponsored segments, and showing two cars fighting, Fox misses a chunk of action.

Hopefully NBC does better and Fox either vastly improves their team in the off season, or simply looses the rights.

Looked like the stands were a quarter empty the whole race. I remember a few years ago that place was PACKED with fans. As a former local racer, I REALLY like the idea if you cause a caution to come out, you get sent to the back… I think that would temper a lot of this nonsense of just dumping each other on the track.

Reminds me of driving as a kid in Central Florida in the early 70’s on those dirt roads. Only way to go around a corner was in a skid. I think it made me a better driver. Especially when you had a canal waiting for you if you messed up.

Not very many ppl there for spectators…..why do they not get the crowd they used to at the tracks? Because they keep changing rules? I hate the stages
