Hopefully this a confidence booster for Bubba. I’m also real impressed with Davenport, he was able to hang with those cup guys. Can’t wait to see what he’ll be able to do tomorrow.

Dude JD a dirt racer he’s gonna be find man mr 2 million dollar dirt man from last year I don’t know why he went to the top he should have stayed on the bottom where the faster cars where running if he stayed there he might have gotten third but this is good for him an get experience an learn as much as you can running with the best drivers in racing the cup guys an learn the car the seat time he’s getting to this weekend an for tomorrow race this will help Davenport a lot an the opportunity he’s getting is huge an to drive for Kaulig racing is awesome happy for my guy

@C B it’s probably because it was his first time in the car, dirt is all about experiencing where’s the fastest, and obviously the “fast guys” do not have that on dirt, they might be cup drivers but that doesn’t mean they get how to drive a dirt track. I’m excited as hell for tomorrow now that he got some laps and moved big time in the trucks

@Tony Davis I know. It’s just, why? These guys that are usual dirt slingers that chose to debut in this race with no knowledge of these cars are just going to be in the way. It was just irritating to watch how no one could pass bubba or jd when it wasn’t like they were better, they couldn’t hold a line to save their lives. Had busch and cindric too scared to try to pass without getting taken out and held up lagano behind Gibbs and truex.
@Tony Davis the truck race last night was a freaking nightmare. I almost couldn’t watch it all the way. When the back end slips away like that and there’s no way for you to bring it back, it got real old real quick watching 4 trucks taken out at a time. This dirt series was one of the worst decisions they’ve made in the modern nascar series. That and this car

Good for JD. He went up to rip the lip like at Volunteer but these Cup cars don’t seem to drive off the high side like the Longhorn. Made the feature so now go get you some dirty dollars!

Cup car ain’t got the bite off the top like the Late Models
A lot of people complain about racing these cars on dirt,but this sure is exciting with all the sliding and bumping around is what we need!! Especially at Bristol because the new surface under that dirt isn’t the same Bristol of yesteryear.
