@Kyle Raymer itent was removed from the rule book. So it should be even easier.

@Kubush You’re comment makes no sense. This was an incident between Larson and Preece. Regardless if you agree with the Hamlin penalty or not, Preece did the same thing. He deserves to be penalized for it the same way. In fact if you agreed with the Hamlin penalty at all then why would you not agree this should result in a penalty?

That was absolutely worth it

Worth 50 grand and 25 driver points ?

@JG_Promotions don’t put me into the wall

Reply

Ya,,, where the fine. Lasted for a half a lap. That’s intent..

Reply
JG_Promotions April 10, 2023 at 2:35 am

Preece flat run Larson into the wall and admitted it on his radio, SMH That was a punk move.

You know it’s bad when the team owners mad about it

Reply
Howard West April 10, 2023 at 7:08 am

If he did admit to it a fine is coming lol. Kids not very bright if he’s announcing taking out another car intentionally.

Reply
Kyle Raymer April 10, 2023 at 5:01 pm

@Howard West It would be a fine and a 25 point penalty. After the Byron appeal last season they amended the rule book to say it must include both. Also the admission doesn’t matter. It’s the intent that matters.

Tony sounded very unhappy about that move.

@Trey Stine plus don’t forget that 41 is one of his cars so he’s to deal with it on his plate now

Reply
Trey Stine April 10, 2023 at 1:54 pm

@Jake Bisz yeah I honestly forgot about that when I wrote my initial comment. I understand his position more now for him to be shook over that. The irony still stands though lol

That Prrice or whatever his name is knock and pushed everyone around till he broke a link , then he decided to take Larson out ( no doubt about that) . United Rental just lost an account today sponsoring such a low quality driver .

@Sara D  Watch the replay, so ur saying Preece just got upset and wrecked Larson for no reason? There’s literally a clip of the spotter telling Larson, NOT CLEAR!

Better get fined Larsons was accidental big difference between the two you can clearly see after preece put him in the wall he then turned right into him again punk move

Reply
William Bialoglow April 10, 2023 at 1:35 pm

Larson’s car was broken after contact to the left front wheel and tire. The 2nd contact was accidental. IMO

greeny April 10, 2023 at 3:50 am

I’m just now getting into NASCAR, but someone please explain to me how they can advertise wrecks and beefs so heavily but take Hamlin to a trial for light contact that resulted in nothing… seems a little hypocritical and honestly pretty scummy to me…

Reply
Kyle Raymer April 10, 2023 at 1:44 pm

It’s been a little weird this season because what happened to Hamlin isn’t the norm. But for what ever reason this season Nascar has been on a war path with penalizing guys. Sounds like they want to start taking this type of racing out of the sport now.

Why hello there I am a 30+ year fan of nascar and wwe and let me tell you when it comes to rules and fines nascar issues them like in professional wrestling as in when ever they feel like it and just making it up as they go along to fit the narrative of w.e soap opera drama they are manufacturing for the week and that’s just the sad truth

Nascar just fined a driver for parking his car at the start finish line during a race and walked across the infield grass yet when asked onto the nascar show all the ex drivers and hosts just laughed it off. Yet when watching it live they all cracked down on him saying he is a professional and this is uncalled for and shouldn’t be acceptable

Mr S April 10, 2023 at 5:42 pm

@Kyle Raymer unless your a billionaire like Hendricks then rules don’t apply like they do to other teams like RFK last year

Reply
The Franchise April 10, 2023 at 8:42 am

Preece is pathetic for that.

Reply
Mr. Hand April 10, 2023 at 12:07 pm

Interesting that Preece was so upset with Larsen simply because he was holding his line. In the post race Preece said he wasnt gonna lift just because Larsen was in his way. Did he overlook the fact that Larsen was FASTER?

Reply
Zachary Harris April 10, 2023 at 3:03 pm

He wasn’t gonna lift when Larson broke Preeces toe link earlier in the race

Reply
Mr. Hand April 10, 2023 at 3:13 pm

@Zachary Harris Larsen “broke is toe link” when Preese drove into him. Interesting take….

Kyle Raymer April 10, 2023 at 1:29 pm

Larson had it coming, but based on the new standard that’s a 25 point penalty and a 50,000 dollar fine. Hate to see it, but those are the standards set now.

Reply
Mr S April 10, 2023 at 1:42 pm

Looks like on the very last bit of contact Larson wrecked himself like a basketball player faking a fall

Reply
Kyle Raymer April 10, 2023 at 4:58 pm

When someone turns up the track and door slams you, I don’t think any driver is going to keep from wrecking. Especially on dirt. Most likely Preece broke something on his car on that hit if not the 2 hits before.

Reply
Erik Schyvinck April 10, 2023 at 3:47 pm

I like how the 13 gave Larson a shot at the end, too. Enjoy the early exit, Kyle.

Reply
grizzfan08 April 10, 2023 at 5:58 pm

Preece clearly retaliated against Larson, and he needs to be fined for it.
