Stage one of the NASCAR Food City Dirt Race had a number of cautions, highlighted by a costly caution which featured Joey Logano, William Byron, and Bubba Wallace. As stage one came to a close, another caution that featured Denny Hamlin allowed Kyle Larson to win stage one. Moving into stage two, Tyler Reddick was able to use a strong finish to capture the victory. Heading into the final stage, Kyle Larson was hoping to overcome adversity and finish strong, but a number of cautions forced Larson's day be cut short. Going into the final laps, Christopher Bell held on to win the final stage of the NASCAR Food City Dirt Race.

Were you surprised by the intense finish?
@Robert Sanders Totally agree with everything you said!
@Robert Sanders that last lap yellow was 100% necessary. There was a car stopped in the middle of the track.
@Robert Sanders it was literally right in front of them as they passed. They had to evade and go down to the bottom line. If the yellow wasn’t thrown they would be going in there much faster, the car wouldn’t have been refired by then. Also reddick would have probably gone for a last corner move which would have almost guaranteed a collision with the stopped car (iirc it was chastain)
I really wish the caution didn’t come out on the final lap and it probably would’ve been a better finish but it was still a good race and a good finish
Wouldn’t of changed the winner bell was too far out front for Reddick to slide job him without taking both of them out.
He was close enough to move him period.
@Mike honcho! I know, he was close enough to make a move and it probably would’ve been a better finish
That 360 by McDowell was insane 4:22
Wheelman gonna wheel
THERE WERE QUITE A FEW 360’S WITHOUT A CAUTION FLAG. GOOD FOR OFFICIALS.
Reminds me of Danny Sullivan’s 360 and Win.. at the 1985 Indy 500.
Best part of the race was seeing the debut of the McDowell 360!
It’s just embarrassing how quickly they were throwing those cautions!
There’s not many people in the seat.
Of course they gotta fill reveue with the ads.
Where all the fans at
I was there, there was a ton of spins and wrecks that didn’t get cautions. I’m just as critical of nascar, but they did fine this time except maybe the Busch spin onto pit road
Great Top 10 for McDowell. Lets go
2 in a row I believe
I was there and the race was fantastic. I think one of the best races this year.
Glad to hear that. Hope NASCAR includes Bristol Dirt in 2024. This race on my bucket list
Reddick was about to bomb it in and take the win 100% but right call by Nascar.
Gotta love watching them run around on caution all night
Why was that Crafton 360 a caution? He did continue right after.. same with the McDowell 360
Grateful of him to do the Polish Victory Lap. A well-deserved win. Happy Easter to you all.
It doesn’t take long for Tony to start apologizing for everybody.
My 7 year old son and myself are huge dirt track fans. We watched sprint cars at both Williams Grove and Port Royal this weekend, and my son races dirt karts. My son isn’t really a big nascar fan, but we both love the NASCAR dirt race! Hope they continue it every year!
Fantastic race for Bell..
Woohoo. Congrats Bell.
Amazing save by Mcdowell. Maybe one of the best I’ve ever seen
Truex was placed 7th, but was in 6th when the last caution came out. I missed stage 3, so what happened?
Great race!
I remember when you had to order tickets 3 years in advance for the Bristol races. Now they are lucky to get a 1/4 of the seats bought. When Big Bill and Bill JR, ran Nascar the TV audience was through the roof, and every seat was full at every race. It only took Big Bill’s grandson Crosseye Brian a couple of years to run it into the ground.
