I am curious if Todd Gordon or Steve Letarte was paid someone else would they still be saying the same thing?
My answer is: No.
@Dean Tait Yeah, but the media are supposed to be fair and balanced. Not to mention unbiased.
If it’s a great track… why’d they bury it under dirt ?
they r saying the dirt version is a great track
Those cars were awful and not made for a dirt race Nascar needs to go back to the drawing board
Indeed. Cars barely went sideways, even at the start. By lap 90 they were not using any right steering wheel at all. Too many cars with too much weight for too many laps turned the track into concrete. Dirt track needs track maintenance and cars with a much higher horsepower to weight ratio. This was a joke.
Then why cover the great track with dirt?
Dont get rid of a dirt race!
I didn’t think I was going to like the dirt race but it was actually pretty good.
Wasn’t that good seeing as there were only effectively 3 lead changes ie whoever started the 1/2/3 stages won the stage and thus the race. No tyre wear meant stable(ish) cars for the whole race. The track degradation on turns 3/4 was really the only variance on the track. Let’s skip dirt racing for what nascar should be about which is road courses!
