certainly an interesting one. I think bristol dirt isn’t the greatest for a dirt race but it is still entertaining. I’d still be up for something like volusia or something like that
I just don’t think dirt racing is conducive to NASCAR racing. The cars are too heavy and very touchy. You just don’t see the sliding and interesting situations you see in most dirt track racing because of the way the cars are.
@Murph Dirt races are packed out, whole stands full most nights. Dirts got better payouts and better fans.
Logano had just a brutal race, really didn’t do anything wrong but everything kept going wrong anyways
Eldora, Knoxville even Port Royal would all be better tracks for the cup cars. Yeah, I know they don’t have the same seating capacity. However seeing that Bristol was 1/2 full or fewer occupied then a venue with less capacity could create an environment where tickets are highly sought after and sell out months in advance instead of having empty seats all around.
I’m not a fan of taking a date away from concrete Bristol but it was a good show this year. The 41 needs someone on the radio to calm things down not escalate the situation…
Preece gets to enjoy his name in the headlines for a week before he’s back to modifieds in 2025

thats got to be so difficult in the dirt. Well done
This race was entertaining as hell. It’s a good change from the cookie-cutter snorefest tracks.
1:48 Super clear from his spotter that Larson knew Preece was there…Putting him Preece in a position to either lift of get run into the wall!
@Bhawkz nah
@Yeet Teet he didnt crash him. he gave a competitor an option. option a) left off and give up 3 ft of track and offset your pace or option b) tag the wall.. seems like common sense choice to me.
@Christopher Harper Dirty racing
@Christopher Harper he forced him to either hit the wall or give up the position, that’s not clean racing. That just means you’re bad at racing so you have to race dirty. Simple as that.
I like that quote from Tony Stewart, “if you don’t like this kind of racing, then you don’t like racing.”
I am guessing the crowd size in the stands was an indictor?
Nascar trying to create an “I think Ericsson hit us” moment
Ya the funny thing is that Chad Johnson used to be the crew chief for Kyle Larson a few years ago. Man what happened to make Chad act like that towards Larson?
The soft agenda of being a crew chief for a northerner probably
I would say this was the best one for sure. Lots of passing and lots of lanes. You don’t ever see that on the concrete. However based on what I could see on TV looked like there were no fans in the stands. And Preece saying eye for an eye is that addition of wrecking Larson?
Yes.
Great video NASCAR! So much more radio talk this week, appreciate it!
Kyle Busch has become a much more likable driver since he switched
I really don’t understand the anger from the #41 towards the #5. He ran him high, but it wasn’t the most egregious or reckless move.
I thought Dillon wrecked Kyle on purpose i’m happy to see that it wasn’t the case
