The NASCAR Truck Series races at the Martinsville Speedway, and rain plagued the event all night long. This race turned from sprint to marathon and we cover it all tonight.

With Carson Hocevar’s incident there in Martinsville I think he should have been docked 100 points fined anywhere between 50,000 and $100,000 as well as suspended for two races
So Kyle larson should have the same penalty then for trying to do the same thing at Bristol
@Tanner Wilburn yup
@Allen Barkley you know what , I’ll give you credit , your at least consistent.
@Tanner Wilburn thank u
Someone either needs to beat some sense into Carson and after what he did tonight, nascar needs to park him for a race
The truck race was meh, they should have started it the moment the lightning pause ended…why do we have wet tires if they are going to spend 15-20 minutes drying the track. Then put out a caution to change to drys, and same gelling at the end. Even then if those are the rules “ok sure let’s go home see you tomorrow….”
Hozevar call it day…can make the argument for a flat tire but he has used that as give him a benefit of the daught but he has used that up alrighty….
Of coarse from the Hamilin penalty as long as he says “I had blown tire and could control it” nothing should happen. F NASCAR for that it’s thier own fault now.
Should be a 1 race suspension.
I can understand the procedure of wet tires on an oval since it’s new, but man they need to do more testing because those caution laps ended me. It already sucks that we have stage racing.
exactly stage racing needs to go and they should have posponed the race
I was at this race, or should I say the first 67 laps of this race. Me, my dad, my aunt and uncle, we were all there, but when the second rain delay came we just left and many other fans did too, kinda knew Heim was gonna win but congrats to him!
This race Should have Been Postponed and Rescheduled For Today
They do not need to be racing in the rain at all. This isn’t Indycar or F1.
Why do we even have a wet weather package, if we’re not going to race in wet weather?
NASCAR’s been very open that these are basically to start/resume races quicker following rain delays. So they can race on a damp track instead of waiting for the dryers to get it all dry.
They’ve been labeled “wet weather” tires for a reason. It’s intentionally highlighting they’re not for full rain on ovals.
Standing water & runoff are still an issue when you’re not at an RC.
These tires are pretty useless. Either run them when it’s raining or don’t use them at all. If the track still has to be dried a little bit to run them, then these tires are pretty pointless.
Was this even a “race”?
