Not really anyone’s fault but I can understand Sam being mad at Truex. Like Sam was already on the inside of Riley into turn 1. Truex could have backed out but I can also understand what he was trying to do it just all went wrong.

I’m a Herbst fan and it’s crazy to see how he started as a guy you expect to crash every week, and now he’s the one who is getting bad luck.

@Monty Tipton when he first started i did. Now its crazy to think, where is he going to finish. I didn’t expect him to wreck this week but did. When i expect to wreck, top 10 maybe a top 5.

@Monty Tipton Yes actually, someone did. someone who would always talk about Riley when he crashes.
@Monty Tipton everyone hated Riley a few years ago, he crashed so often and was way off the pace. He’s gotten a lot better though, and is a fun driver to root for

Why in the hell is xfinity getting night races at Martinsville but cup isn’t? Thought that was the next big deal when they installed lights there?

NASCAR likes to change up things to feign interest in the dying “sport”.
The race last year with the Next Gen didn’t run well at MVille, likely because of the cooler temperatures, so NASCAR is trying to improve the racing by moving it to day. Also probably brings in better ratings.
I’d imagine it’s because night races on Sundays don’t get as many people watching as a race during the day. I always have a hard time watching them live because I have to get up early for work the next day, so I usually end up recording the races and watching them later if I watch them

i don’t think the 19 did anything wrong. sure it was an aggressive move but he showed himself inside on the straightaway and forced the 1 to either fall back or get wrecked. it’s the way racing is. unfortunately for the 98 the 1 chose to get wrecked and that ended his day early too
Being a lane down doesn’t give you a right to the line, you gotta be there before turn in.
Sam and Riley both owe him one.
@hunterPRO1 S the 19 was fading inside of the 1 at the s/f line. he was there first and had the right of way. the 1 was in a bad spot and the only positive outcome for him was the give up the position to the 19
@Mike as I said just being a lane down doesn’t mean you are there, he was nut underneath the 1 until the last second, way after turn in.
