Just think about how different NASCAR would be today if Hendrick didn’t exist. Jimmie Johnson might not of won any championships, heck he might never have even gotten a good opportunity. Kyle Larson would either not be racing or be racing for a backmarker team, and Kyle Busch might never have gotten a good opportunity either. Dale Jr. would have been stuck at a bad team, and so many other talents would be wasted.

@J T that’s the joke, it is a Hendricks car we are talking about here

@J T every single car would have failed especially Waltrip and Earnhardt.

Where can I watch this movie?

Weird because this was only their 8th race. Plus they already had 3 Top 10s in their first 7 races, including 8th at Daytona, yet had no money.

It’s crazy to think how if Geoff Bodine didn’t win that race, Hendrick Motorsports wouldn’t even exist.

The literal definition of checkers or wreckers. I’m grateful Hendrick exists today. Just think about how many drivers may have not even raced or made history. Jeff Gordon, Jimmie, Dale, Larson, Chase, Busch etc. Even if you don’t like Hendrick. You have to be grateful for what this team means to a lot of people and NASCAR in general.

So this was before rick lied about being sick to get a pardon.

For some reason that felt like the cheapest way to tell that story. The story that had a big impact on the sport. But only NASCAR would find a way to cheap out on something important.

It is interesting to note, that when NASSCAR did a video celebrating Hendrick’s 200 Cup wins, they didn’t mention Geoff Bodine!
