Was contemplating whether to watch the race and I wish I did. Hopefully Cup Race will be good.

I watched late, so I fast forwarded through the post crashes yellow. The racing was great, but too many wrecks.

This race reminded me of the early 2000s Busch races at talladega

I believe I counted 13 cars in that big one with Hemric going upside down. I said that Jayski, and Racing Reference only listed 4 cars but I saw way more in that wreck with 2 to go in regulation. What did you think of those nice stories in the Top 10, at least Top 15, besides Jeb Burton winning, You had Parker Kligerman tying his best finish ever, and. What about Brennan Poole first Top 5 since 2017 at Charlotte, and JD Motorsports best finish since 2017 with Chastain, Caesar Bacarella career best, Parker Retzlaff 2nd best career best, Gray Gualding his first top 10 since 2020, Joey Gase best finish since 2017, Josh Williams best result since Mid-Ohio in 2021, Ryan Ellis in the Cane’s Chicken car got his best ever finish for him, CJ McLaughlin 2nd best finish ever for him, and Kyle Sieg, and Garrett Smithley both in position their best finishes ever until they got into that last second crash.

Blaine Perkins had an early 90’s barrel roll. That was insane.

The whole “I’m impressed with Riley Hurbst improvement” narrative is pretty annoying. The guy went from wrecking every other race, to wrecking every 5th race, to running around 20th to now running 10th. Woo-hoo! The guy now gets middling results in a top tier ride instead of wrecking or running 1 or more laps down every race, congrats.

The racing was good whenever they were not crashing multiple lane racing many different leaders plenty of lead changes you also saw a few times where guys passed on their own for the lead and sometimes different strategies and a decent finish at least they actually tried to go for the win in Xfinity unlike arca
