With NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver Chase Elliott having to sit out multiple weeks early in the season his NASCAR Playoff possibilities have slimmed to what many view as a must win scenario. But I do not think that a win is the only way that the young Elliott can make NASCAR’s postseason. While it seems like an impossible task it may be accomplished no matter what. This is why Chase Elliott will make the 2023 NASCAR Playoffs.

Do you think Chase Elliott will compete for the 2023 championship?
Yeah. I have him winning this year and there’s a very good chance he could still win it. Ask Kyle Busch about missing 1/3 of the season and winning anyway.
No doubt about it
No
Yes
@JackLikesTrackhouse there’s a huge difference between 2016 with 2023
He’ll get at least a win to make it in. I don’t see how he doesn’t make it in quite honestly.
Totally agree. Bowman could potentially point his way in still.
They both could
No reason he won’t – Just needs to win
Safest hottake in the history of hottakes
Chase Elliott is very similar to Kevin Harvick both always their at the end of races
I actually really like his chances at Chicago with it being new. I agree that he’ll be quick to adapt. I also like his chances at Atlanta. I know there are tracks after that he could win but if not, I do think there’s a chance he gets in on points.
I bet Joey Logano wins Chicago. He has an impressive ability to win at new tracks to the schedule. Even with it being a road course. I hate the guy, but that’s my prediction.
ive been so checked out of nascar, doesnt he just have to win and race like he normally does and he will not only point his way in he will be seeded well for the playoffs?
Because he’s in Chad Knaus equipment, fueled by Rick Hendrick’s money, and Nascar has to have him or TV ratings will tank.
Kyle Busch did it back in 2015, and was out for more races. Chase will be fine.
@PHX Suns haters should be put in prison Chase is already 1 point out of 30th, never mind the win and you are in thing isn’t limited to the Top 30 anymore. Maybe we get more than 16 winners, but I’m betting Chase can win 2 real quick.
Why is this such a big question? He won the most races of anybody last year. He will be fine
Because he will win a race, probably at least a road course. The consistency of top finishes is also probable.
Oval* not road course
Hendrick will bring speed to every track it’s just about which hendrick car is a little faster or has a better strategy
Something I mentioned in my video was that he simply hasn’t won this early in the season as well. He’s only won 1 of his 18 races in the first 9 races of a season. The 2nd charlotte 2020 race it was race 7.
Yeah. I think Chase will make it. He has the equipment and the talent. And most importantly, the waiver.
He will make it to the playoffs this season
