Should there be fighting in NASCAR?
Yes, since you can’t spin someone on track now.
Have at it boys! Im thinking at this point if the racing was better we wouldn’t all be talking about a “fight”

Tempers flare. 1979 Daytona 500. You grab someone, and don’t let go, you better be ready to go. If Gragson was that upset, just walk up and punch him. Don’t be a baby and be upset you didn’t get the second swing. Take the first one

It’s apart of racing and heads can bump so yes.
I know a lot of folks don’t like the thought of it, because on a stand point they just want respect & the clean racing. Most guys are still in that picture of let’s keep it clean. I agree but if you don’t bump & race a guy hard, then why are you even on the track? Also if you get ran the wrong way or if someone squeezes you & also you’re working out in that car for 3 hours , & tempers get high it’s 100+ degrees inside the car. So of course you’re gonna get a fight in. Last Sunday at Kansas wasn’t the first fight we’ve seen. To me there’s no problem in having some fists thrown at all. What about other sports these guys get tempered it’s because of the passion of their craft & what they’ve worked all their lives to do. So yeah on a stand point don’t let it get outta hand to where it makes the sport & industry look pathetic. Keep the industry strong looking. I don’t think it’s a problem, but just don’t let become a problem.
I’ve been saying this since the early 80’s, let-um fight. However, my solution was to build a portable fighting ring that could be transported from race to race, and just put the gloves on them and let-um – duke-it-out! Just like in a real boxing match!
I like that idea. Dropping someone on pavement can kill them, so a ring makes sense.

It’s not fighting, it’s settling arguments. Nothing wrong with a little scrap now and then.

I like the NHL rules idea like Kyle said. Let them fight till someone falls or they get tired. I think NASCAR has gotten soft in that category. They also should allow drivers to walk on the track and bring back helmet tossing as long as there’s someone on the track with them. That’s something that shouldn’t’ve changed despite the Tony Stewart-Kevin Ward incident years ago.
Bubba would of broke Kyle Larson’s neck using his head as a punching bag in the first 30 seconds!

Growing up when myself and my brothers and sisters started acting like aholes, my parents cleared the living room put the boxing gloves on us and we beat each other up! Ah, fun times.

If they cant fight, then the problem will continue unto the next week in the cars. Ross has multiple people who want to see him spin or get punched out. Let them fight and only 1 or 2 people get hurt. If they take it out in their cars, its unsafe.
90% if these clowns are only throwing punches because they know security will step in and break it up.
It was a weak punch….square on the jaw and it didn’t even phase him.
