Surprise surprise surprise. Give the guy credit for being at the front. Give him no credit for being the idiot every time he is at the front. If he could have wrecked Larson and kept going that was his goal. He needs to be parked.
I’ve repositioned my 1:64 display to have the #1 forcing another car into the wall.
Reckless Ross takes the 5 out yet again. This is getting old. IMO Chastain is not aggressive, he is just plain reckless. Before all you Chastain fans start barking about Larson did it to Chastain, there is one glaring difference between the two. That difference is Larson did not wreck himself or Ross when he pinched the 1 car. Favorite part of the finish: Larson bulldozing the 1 car halfway around the track.
Plus the fact that Ross did it to Kyle in a restart before larson did it back
Doesn’t matter if they wreck themselves or not. Larson walls people every week and everyone’s fine with it. Ross does it and everyone shits themselves.

Ernie Ervin and Jimmie Spencer eventually toned down their checkers or wreckers mentality. Let’s hope Ross does too. This isn’t a video game out there.

if Ross raced at a local track, we would put up a bounty for the car that took him out at the next race, usually about $2-4k and the car has to be out of the race by lap 20. Extra money involved if the car has to be clipped and/or taken off the track with two wreckers.
Could have won the race if he had decided to steer left.
What a bonehead move. He could have been 1st or 2nd but he chose to wreck himself while wrecking Larson He knew if he didn’t win that Larson would take over the points lead so he sacrificed a good finish to hold on to the points lead when he doesn’t have a win. He has talent but he doesn’t use good judgment. He’s got too many enemies.
That makes no sense tho. Larson had no chance to catch up to Chastain on points in this race no matter what and Larson closed the points gap on Chastain more than if they would have finished 1st and 2nd.
It was rough out there but it looks like they had a real tender moment with Larson pushing him sideways for half the straightaway

If I drove into the corner at WOT (wide open throttle) I’d be tight going into that corner too ! ! Maybe a few drivers need to get together and decide to wreck you every race until you either learn to check your temper or stop wrecking people.
So, if you’re a slow rookie in front of Ross, he has to slow down, but it’s perfectly cool to straight up turn left into Ross and take him and yourself out of having a chance to win? Cool. Got it.
Chastain is this decade’s Ernie Irvan. I’m hopeful he’ll be a little less aggressive later on this season.
