There are only 3 vehicles Crashtain hasn’t crashed into on the track. The pace car, ambulance, and cleanup truck. There is still plenty of time left in the season for him to pull off the hat trick.

The 5 and 48 are notorious for running cars high but the most notable HMS driver to pull that move was the 9 on the 7 at Atlanta last season.

Loss Crashstain

How is this relevant? Why is running someone up the track “too aggressive” Ross didn’t put Larson in the fence. He clearly left him a lane. Larson just got butthurt and decided to push Ross into the wall when he had the opportunity. The earlier restart is not an excuse for Larson running Ross into the wall.

Larson had to get out of the gas to not hit the wall and lost spots on the earlier restart when Chastain did that. Just because Larson didn’t hit the wall doesn’t mean Ross wasn’t pushing too hard with 80 to go

@Hyper Shadow getting out of the gas was his choice. He had a lane he could have run in.

Doesn’t matter, Hendrick employees and the fan base will never see it, the fan base and former employees are toxic asf

I imagine there were a number of drivers and owners who were upset with a certain aggressive young RCR driver many years ago. Like him or not, he went on to win 7 championships.

Ross is more like Ernie “swervin” Irvan more then Dale when Ernie frustrated people ‘

Honestly, if Ross doesn’t try that move, he probably doesn’t get a chance to pass larson for the win. Larson had a fast car, and it was hard to pass all day.
I understand the move, it just couldn’t work out with those tires. I’m not defending it, but I understand it.

Your right on. He has to learn, (You have to learn how to lose( Before you can win)).

I feel like the media, for the most part, consists primarily of Ross Chastain apologists. To simply equate all the all-track incidents to agression is an oversimplification. I heard a Kyle Busch interview and he was 100% spot on when he said, “we’re all aggressive.” No one has a problem with aggressive driving, the grievance is with his repeated poor decisions/mistakes on the track that takes out his competitors. I also am tired of the Earhardt comparisons…..Ross has won two races, and let’s not forget he won one by blatantly punting Allmendinger and Bowman and he was gifted the second by the roulette wheel that is Talladega. Let’s see some more progression before we anoint him the next “Intimidator.”

That’s what I’m saying! No real Nascar fan would compare any driver to Earnhardt. He knew when to be aggressive and he was smart. Chastain is just 100% all the time. Idk where the morons get their Earhnardt comparisons. What’s wrong with Ross having his own style? Why does he have to be somebody else and not his own person? People are dumb, I swear.

It’s amazing Hemdrick goes out and can wreck, spin and race others just as Ross and they get put on a pedestal, as soon as it’s done back to them, then the dramatics begin. F1 isn’t doing great just cause of D2S, they dont whine and cry, they focus on WINNING, while you lot focus on CULTURE lol you will lose everytime

I’m with Denny Hamlin when he said Ross has been in wrecks but have the other drivers been giving him the room

michael honeychuck May 16, 2023 at 5:05 pm

Yep and several of those drivers drove just like ross, and they still pout like little babies, but if they do it , yea its fine. Not to mention media hyping things up on ross too. Does nothing,, denny, Kyle n kyle and others pout, un neeeded drama just for content
