No kidding B finishes in 5th. Sorry for the other drivers that finished 2,3,4th. They mean nothing. Nascar is so full of it. No wonder the ratings or worse than ever.

Great race, but I hope Spire doesn’t enter Larson into its number 7 Silverado, if the series does in fact return to North Wilkesboro next year, because it’ll be tiring to see Larson go back to back in the same veins as AJ winning four straight Roval NXS events or Front Row Motorsports winning all three times at the COTA truck race, I hope they put Chase Elliott or the driver who was supposed to drive that truck this year(if he didn’t get injured), Alex Bowman instead, if Spire wants to compete in next year’s truck race at this iconic track.

Or even better, let NW be a Triple Truck Challenge race in 2024, where it would ban all cup drivers automatically and a different driver and team would compete(even if their name is Zane Smith)

Great race! How fitting, one of todays Stars (Larson) grabs the win. Gordon finished it, Larson started it over again… hmmmm, Gordon and Larson are teamed up??! Imagine That!

Putting Bubba’s name to feel good when he was a non-issue.

I guess Kyle Larson “held” off the field the same way Martin Truex “held” off the field in the 2016 Coke 600

Just remember everyone, it’s ok to leach into the 3rd tier series as long as your name isn’t Kyle Busch(not even a kfb fan). New track isn’t an excuse because there are about 35 cup guys that didn’t enter this race to gain an advantage and these are the same drivers leaching that did it at other tracks, that aren’t new.

Field was 10% cup drivers

Wish the cup guys didn’t race in the truck race today. Normally I would think it’s cool but I feel it took a very historic win from younger talent trying to make a name

As a racecar driver, here’s my two cents about cup drivers being in the truck/Xfinity series

It’s actually a good thing. They can learn a lot by racing against the top cup drivers. If you’re right behind them, you’ll be able to see what they do that you don’t. They gain a lot of experience by racing cup drivers. Larson raced against Kyle Busch all the time in the then Nationwide series and now look at him. Kyle Busch had to race Winston Cup drivers in the Busch Series. Now he’s a two time champion.

Cup drivers are not taking anything from racing in lower divisions at all. They have to know how different cup drivers race before going full time cup

Agree, i don’t understand why NASCAR let’s the cup guys participate in the lower support races.

@AStonedRacecarDriver all I mean by this is if a actual truck driver won it would mean much more too them. Sure it means a lot to Larson but he is also Kyle Larson I would only expect him not too top 3 a truck race of Chastain was behind him or a stupid wreck happened. We know cup guys have the talent to beat the lower divisions they already proved it by making it too cup. Sure it helps drivers get better and they can better mentor them on the track than with words. I still stand by cup guys didn’t need to be in this one. If cup guys were not in the race it would be a totally different outcome

Make the cup guys start in the back

I joyed watching Larson move through the field and take the win at N. Wilkesborrow , will be rooting for him to win again tomorrow for the Big $ , even if he doesn’t need the money, just want him to calk it up for his 3rd All-Star Win !

Kyle Larson reminds me of Greg Biffle. I was sad to see him quit, but I guess when you are a millionaire, you can do whatever.

Hendrick last won it in 96 and now he’s on the hood of the truck that won it again.

Hendrick automotive is the sponsor not Rick Hendrick or Hendrick Motorsports

@John Haas Still it’s technically the same Hendrick.

Not impressed with cup drivers stealing wins from truck series drivers. Doesn’t show me a whole lot of class. This was someone else’s time to shine. But i guess if Kyle Larson does it then it must be ok. I already knew he was a better driver than truck series drivers and i already knew he had more money. What a shock he won
