Dont understand the people that complain about the race being boring. If you dont find it interesting, dont watch it.
Uhhhh maybe it’s the first race they watched at NW?
I mean it was a boring race? that doesnt mean we dont like the sport like damn. So what you’re gonna sit here and say that race was exciting?
I mean it was 100% a boring race, but thats ok it happens in Nascar but that doesnt change the fact this race was boring like what? its a fair criticism which is rare Nascar fans criticism is usually awful.
pfff i fell asleep lmaoo about 20 laps in
@Zumpt if you know it happens, then don’t waste time complaining about it.
I agree with A brick wall, the online complains about each race has been getting on my nerves, coming from a die hard NASCAR fan
I did think this race was rather uneventful, but this is how most of the old North Wilkesboro races were. We got to witness an old school style whoopin to the field, which is what made this race much more nostalgic.
People only watch Nascar to see big crashes
@KAL’S children and fake racing fans only watch for the wrecks
@Matt Harrell exactly, these new fans forget ehat made nascar good, every time fans ask for their old racing back they complain about it, they say they want more horsepower they complain
I honestly don’t care about uneventful, its a Cup race a North Wilkesboro, that’s eventful enough.
Larson DOMINATED… and they hardly show him going up the field. Big Fail. Surprised no one else was able to fight him for the lead though.
That said, I’m sure in person it was way better. I blame the TV coverage
People that complain about the race being boring are the same ones who complain stage breaks ruined NASCAR. This kind of race is what stage breaks were designed to prevent. Make up your minds.
In 1994 Geoff Bodine led 334 of 400 laps. He was the only car the finished on the lead lap.
So is racing better or worse today compared to 90s NASCAR racing? Which do you want, because we are tired of hearing how the 90s were SO MUCH BETTER, but tonight was EXAXTLY how short track racing was in the 90s.
It WAS a great race, so you just “proved” 90’s racing WAS better.
Nascar fans try not to be blinded by nostalgia challenge (LEVEL IMPOSSIBLE)
@KAL’S F1 fan trying not to insult Nascaf fans (level 101% impssible)
I think it’s about the same as the 90’s, except tv coverage, they were much better about showing you a battle back then rather than showing the leader cruising around with a 5 second lead. When that’s the only thing the tv is showing, that is what you will base your opinion on
That STP car sure is one sharp unit!
Nice to see actual racing for 100 laps, no stages. Nascar needs to bring that back along with this track on the schedule
Congrats Kyle Larson on winning the Nascar Cup All Star Race at North Wilkesboro!!!! Kathleen Cone Apopka Florida..
@Kathleen Cone he won truck series too
I expect they will, they did not spend all that money renovating it for just one race.
man i’ll say it again, it’s great to be back at north wilkesboro again, but this time, it’s better than ever.
Big thanks to dale jr for helping to make this happen tho!! Love this!
Love it! Reminds me of the good days, can hardly stand to watch the races now. Congrats Kyle!!
This is beyond awesome being back at North Wilkesboro.
Way to go Kyle and what a track to win on.
this was SO FUN to watch! always great to see the 5 dominate.
I actually really enjoyed this race, sometimes people need to understand that racing is not only about wreckin’ and yellow flags all the time, IMHO It was a very successful event.
Alright Kyle! All the way from the back congrats to my favorite racer!
Yeah this place needs an actual points race bc this place is fun, hope i can get a ticket next time around!!
Glad to see NASCAR back at North Wilkesboro! STANDS look Full! Larry and Daryll commentating! Good old school NASCAR!!!
I don’t mind much about the racing being a bit slower paced because it was how races used to be typically. I’m just happy to see the local fans getting an opportunity to watch a live nascar race again, they really never deserved to lose that tracks date.
I bet Jeff Gordon was just itching to get back in the car, especially with Ray there too. NW was one of the best tracks back in the day.
I was at this race and the CARs tour race with Jr last August. It’s amazing how much transformative work has been done to update the track and the fine tune the parking strategy.
My wife and I stayed for the entire race and didn’t have to wait in line to get out of our parking lot!
The race would have been better if it were longer like the old Tyson or First Union 400s where pit stops were needed and tires and brakes actually wore out. But all in all a great event and I’ll buy tickets again if NASCAR puts it on the schedule next year. I’m actually excited to watch races again thanks to this track.
