I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen them hit the inside wall like that before. Like in the middle of racing.
That was one weird wreck. He clobbered the end of that wall on his own.
From his onboard it looked like he got into the back of the 34 and was just trying to save it got into the wall. I don’t know if he got tagged from behind though.

Noah has always been rather popular. I think coming up with JR Motorsports helped a lot, then last season his battle with Ty Gibbs earned him some fans, but ultimately I think his incident with Chastain is what really won him a ton of fans lately.
Noah is a popular driver. People love him.
@Kyle Raymer dam man, getting hit in the mouth never gained me fans. hitting them back gained me a few though.
@Al Bondigas I think it’s more of the fact that Ross has become the enemy across Nascar, so they just back anyone who goes against him. And the fact he got sucker punched by someone that is seen as a bad guy does end up creating temporary fans.
Gragson still made the show with fan vote. Imagine lol. Guarantee everone voted him cause of the punch lol.
