Oh man this was a crazy crash
Cukes
Definitely looked intentional to me
Hi nascar, let’s treat all drivers the same and be consistent with penalties alright?
There’s nothing about the accident that would suggest it was done deliberately he bounced off the wall so of course he let up off the throttle to straighten it out and at the same time while doing so he was trapped from the rear that’s racing for you
@Dan Lee that not it
@Dan Lee it’s a mirror of the Wallace incident
@Dan Lee keselowski was on his bumper, probably took the air off his spoiler compounded with a probable bent toe link. I really wish bowyer would be replaced in the booth, his idiotic euphemisms and boneheaded calls are ignorant.
That probably hurt more than a razor scooter to the ankle
I swear my ankle still sore years later
This kinda reminds me with the whole hamlin and elliott situlation from 2017 at martinsville and phoenix from the playoff.
Of all the drivers Hamlin is one of the most even keel. Sit down Hendrick mark.
I couldn’t tell if chase was taken out, but im pretty sure my hubby isn’t too happy about that crash
Your mom is pretty happy about it
Denny was definitely racing beyond his car’s ability but doesn’t excuse that bonehead move Chase made.
Exactly he just hooked him. And then he did that in the dog leg that’s one of the worst angles to hit the wall at and that was proven by him getting on two wheels after the impact.
Turns out the 6 did in fact get into the rear of Chase causing him to slide down into Denny. Can’t believe it took them an hour to bring that to light though.
@Kyle Raymer no they just did the opposite.. he was steering left before the 6 touched him.
@Kyle Raymer turns out he didn’t. Chase dumped Denny.
@theyuriorlov47 They clearly showed a replay of him getting hit from behind.
Excelente!!!
I wonder if he even did that on purpose or if his car got loose
His Toe Link was broken that what cause d that not intentionally wrecking him…
@James Zeigler no he was straight and then turned left. He meant to do it.
@theyuriorlov47 Sorry but disagree…
@James Zeigler you don’t need to apologize for being wrong.
@James Zeigler Showed in the replay, he turned right after going straight, just because it is your favorite driver doesn’t mean that he can’t be in the wrong.
Shades of Dale Earnhardt Jr & Michael Waltrip from the 2005 Coke 600
It really does look eerily similar.
These announcers are something special.
So are Chase Elliott fans. lol
@Gforcebond Was there an elliot fan in this highlight? Wtf you talking about?
@JDM forever His claim was proven wrong later in the race.
That’s probably the hardest hit I’ve ever seen in the next gen era
no way larsons a few weeks back was harder
then you don’t watch much
Since Davey Allison crash at Charlotte
Not really
This angle clearly shows Brad didn’t turn into Chase.
Brad was lucky he didn’t damage from that stunt
Hamlin drove Elliott into the wall.
Park Elliot for 2 races. That was almost a sport ender
Is everyone gonna ignore that Denny drove him up to the wall and put Chase in that position? I can’t tell if Chase retaliated or lost control. Either way that looked really bad with Hamlin’s upper body jerking around that after hitting the way.
Chase retaliated, he turned hard left before the 6 hit him and the SMT data shows that as well
Denny put him in the wall and then cries when he gets wrecked
On one hand, Elliot got ran up the wall. On the other hand, Chase definitely did that on purpose.
Elliott obviously right rear hooked him into the wall. However, being he is the golden child of nascar (and a hendrick driver), they likely won’t give him the one race suspension he deserves for that move. If his car had “broken” as he claimed, he would have immediately turned into the 11. Instead, he drove it straight and then hooked him. I’m no fan of Hamlin by any stretch of the imagination, but he was right in his interview. The EXACT same move Bubby made that earned him a 1 race vacation.
