The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway was very eventful. After being postponed with multiple rain delays, drivers finally had a chance to race on Memorial Day. The Coca-Cola 600 ended with 16 cautions, multiple big wrecks, including one that ended Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott's day. William Byron continued his success by winning Stage 1, his 7th of the season. Chris Buescher surprised the crowd and won Stage 2, winning his first Stage win since 2021, and Ryan Blaney was able to get his first Stage win of the season in Stage 3. Ryan Blaney continued his hard competitive racing and ended up winning the Coca-Cola 600: his 8th career win and his first win since August 2021 at Daytona.

This was a pretty good race. It felt an All Star race with drivers fighting for every position.
All star race needs go back to NC this was the best race of the year
All-Star needs to return to Charlotte.
YES! Nothing against Wilkesboro, but Nascar’s short track package is hot garbage on this car. Since most intermediates race awesome now, time to bring it back to Charlotte!

Something about this race and first time winners. I was at this race in 2000 when Kenseth won his first. And when Jimmy Johnson won his first pole with the track record
Very happy for Ryan Blaney. Delighted to see Denny Hamlin given the smack he deserves for his stupid driving. Not even half way through the race and he’s repeatedly trying – and succeeding – to nudge another car into the wall. And not the first time he’s abused Elliott. How he must hate Chase, who can be totally relaxed about things. After all, he’s won a title and will likely win one or more again. Hamlin? Hah! Not happening. Not with the enemies he makes. Pray for him, Coach Gibbs.
