CANT WAIT! I went there about ten years ago (I dragged my wife & kids along) because I wanted to see that track and it was in rough shape and I spoke with the care taker at the time and he still had hope that someone would rescue the track! I have a shop at Sonoma Race (another SMI track) I had no idea at the time that SMI owned that track and then when I saw that Jr wanted to see that track brought back I knew that he was probably the guy that had the power to pull it off and he did! He will be the first to say that he didn’t really do anything but as everyone knows it was because of his love for SIM racing and that track that we now have what’s going on so give all credit to Dale Earnhardt Jr!!!

Awesome interview! Carson is a great personality to be on the up & up.
Such a great report, but I hate to be negative. We have grown fans that have never seen racing on one of greatest driver’s tracks of all time. Someone tell me why we don’t have all three series two times a year here, along with Darington and rebuild Rockingham. Dump them half full, mile and halves that puts you to sleep and let’s get back to racing.

I can’t believe that happened still! It was a good lick looking at it more, but initially I thought it wasn’t a big enough hit to cause all that. And Byron’s concussion later made me question the car a lot. Hopefully its better this year although idk what they could have changed. Kurt sounded emotionally for Reddick’s win, which was a little sad to hear, his heart still seems to be with the team.
Darlington and Rockingham it almost sounds like from the 90s

Happy about the amended Hendrick penalty. I sure wish we had some more details about the appeal tho… As for Suarez, if he has a problem he should get out of the car and have an altercation if he feels it necessary, but don’t use your race car as a weapon endangering bystanders…
