Busch should really go to RCR on the #8. I mean it’s perfect advertising really.
I can already hear the promotional campaigns. #DrinkABuschWithBusch
@Douglas Diggs Inserts i like your thinking lol
Talk about full circle!
@Douglas Diggs InsertsShotgun a Busch with Buschy McBusch Busch.
Thanks for the video Eric, you never dissapoint with your videos!
Just hoping for Busch with Busch
Would be kind of neat. I would have thought they would go to a more established driver then Ross, but they might not be a bad choice.
everyone is in uproar about Busch not sponsoring Kyle Busch…
meanwhile here I am wondering how SHR continues to fall to shambles…
No one really knows why their performance has been dropping since 2020, but my god, they can’t take much more. Their gonna lose Harvick, and Almirola soon, and the free agent market is very slim. All they have is Herbst and Custer. And now a major sponsor leaving? My god…
I could see SHR getting rid of the 4 car and going to a 3 car team
I think Smoke is more into Drag racing now, might be one reason.
They just don’t have a great front office for this stuff, they’ve got an opportunity to sponsor F1 and NASCAR packages and they can’t sell that to anyone?
@Kyl3000 HAAS needs to sell his F1 team to Andretti and focus on NASCAR.
Busch going to Trackhouse would be sort of a full circle type deal, as the 1 car is the last little connection to DEI, who had Anheuser Busch as a sponsor for the 8
That’s a stretch in logic.
@FishNFoolLures
Yeah it’s a stretch, but it is true. DEI merged with Ganassi, then the wicked witch of the south east was bought out, but the 1 remained on Ganassi’s team. Then Chip sold to TrackHouse, and they have kept the 1 going.
Not much of a stretch. DEI and the 8’s legacy are now rolled into Trackhouse. RCR’s affiliation with the 8 is much more recent
@TanDawg58 And former DEI executive, Ty Norris, is team President for Trackhouse
@TanDawg58 And Trackhouse has Ty Norris as part of its team, who was Earnhardt’s “protege” so to speak.
All we need is Trackhouse running the 1, 8, and 15. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Would be nice if more beer sponsors came back to nascar
In the 80s they had Old Milwaukee, Budweiser, Miller, Busch, and maybe Coors.
@John HaasYeah, the merging of the beer companies does not help.
I know this shows my age, but I remember when Terry Labonte drove the Bud car.
I’d bring in Hawkstone.
This furthers my prediction of Harvick being involved at Trackhouse in some sort of leadership/advisory role. Trackhouse has supported Keelan’s karting career, Kevin got Justin involved with the CARS tour, and believe me I bet Busch asked Harvick for recommendations on who would be the next good fit for their brand. Harvick and Trackhouse are a budding relationship, he will have a role with that team in the next few years. Screenshot this comment. 🙂
You might be onto something here…really bad news for SHR to loose Busch AND Smithfield in the same off season if Almirola retires for real this time.
Ok I took a screenshot so we’ll see if you’re right.
I took a picture of my computer screen with my Nikon Camera.
I don’t have a cell phone so I can’t do a screenshot.
Harvick being involved with Trackhouse would be a good fit considering he’s always been a Chevy guy.
I’m intrigued to see what the bush beer paint scheme will look like on Ross Chastain’s car next year
With Harvick retiring, and Almirola wanting to retire, I wouldn’t be surprised if we here SHR is looking to sell 1 or 2 of its charters.
Could SHR decline in production exist because of the fact that Tony(NHRA) & Haas (F1)
If Busch doesn’t sponsor Busch like we all want and goes to trackhouse, with what they’ve been able to do with sponsors that aren’t on the same scale, imagine what they could do with a huge deal like Busch and the funding they bring
Kevin Harvick has carried both teams he’s been with. RCR dramatically went down hill after Harvick left, (Not counting this year since Busch has arrived) and he’s proved year after year to carry SHR.
A little shocked that Kyle Busch isn’t the favorite to land A-B. I remember a few seasons ago where A-B took “Busch” off Harvick’s car and put “Harvick beer” instead for a race since Harvick and Kyle were battling in the playoffs.
Ross Chastain having Busch Light as a primary is a matchup I never knew I wanted
Yep Watermelon and Beer!!
They can brand all of Ross Chastain’s moves as hold my beer moments brought to you by Busch Light
if Monster energy can sponsor multiple cars over multiple teams/manufacturers it’d be cool to see Busch do the same. Primary sponsor Chastain and make a few appearances on Rowdy’s car(especially if there’s another Buschy McBusch race)
There’s also Ty Norris involved with Trackhouse who was a big part of DEI back in the Bud 8 days.
In addition to Ross Chastain, Busch Beer (to be more precise their parent company Anheuser-Busch) might also be adding F1 to their portfolio as the official beer of F1 beginning next season. This is because the current contract with Heineken expires at the end of this season & Heineken is leaning towards renewing their deal with the UEFA Champions League & becoming the official beer of Indycar instead of sticking with F1 as part of their marketing strategy for North America. I also should point out that Molson-Coors (the same company that makes Coors Light & Molson) is also interested in becoming the official beer of F1 which could lead to the return of the Coors Light Silver Bullet paint scheme that Sterling Marlin had in the early 2000’s but on an F1 car.
Nascar absolutely needs more drivers like Kyle B, Joey and Ross . Ross is the shot in the arm they needed.
