Kyle Busch got his first career cup win at Auto Club and now won in Auto Club’s last 2 mile race. if that’s not poetic idk what is.

Umm not poetic at all, mayb if it ends up being his last win but I doubt that’ll be the case

Reply
Joshua Pittman February 27, 2023 at 4:04 am

Poetic? More like it shows just how it’s a scripted soap opera! And the story continues…hours later, John Hunter, whos career was gifted a 2nd chance by Kyle Busch, wins the Xfinity race with Kyle Busch’s ex crew chief…its a small world I guess….don’t be so gullible!

Kyle Busch will make RCR great again

Reply

Kyle could have won every race he started this season: Clash (finished 3rd), Duel (crashed from the lead), 500 (led at 500 miles), and today. man that 8 has so much momentum already AND I LOVE IT LETS GO!!

He’s NOT a genius. It’s OBVIOUS that he’d make any team struggling better.

I am not a Kyle Busch fan however I am happy to see him win and I think he is becoming a more popular driver this year for sure.

Same here. I was at Daytona last week and he did a fan q&a before the race and it was hard to hear anyone booo him, I believe too that he is much more liked than in the past.

Reply
Easy E Network February 27, 2023 at 2:15 pm

Well, RCR is more liked as a team overall than Gibbs I think in MPD voting. Kyle is consistently voted one of the top 5 MPD drivers, though Chase has a lock on that top spot for the foreseeable future.

Have never wanted to see kyle win a race until the last two weeks. I might be wrong but hopefully he’s making the turn Kurt did when all the fans became happy about his wins.

Never have been a Kyle Busch fan but after how he was treated by Joe Gibbs last year I was cheering him on. Hell has officially frozen over.

I’ve always been a KFB fan. However I think due to the way he was thrown out a JGR last year. As well as the way it seemed like he was lightly sabotaged with blowing two motors and that awful martinsville car. People started seeing him as a sympathetic figure as ty Gibbs replaced him. Also being in a Chevy doesn’t hurt. He’s also getting to that point in his career where people realize he’s one of the greats and start to appreciate him for that. People want to see where he can end up.

Racefan22 February 28, 2023 at 12:48 am

@KyleI agree. I have actually despised Kyle for his attitude but how they gave him bad cars and engines reminded me of how Matt Kenseth was done. For all he did for Gibbs he didn’t deserve that. I knew it was a setup when Kyle’s engine blew up late last year and water was coming out of the headers.

I have a feeling that Kyle Bush of 2023 will be the Kyle Larson we saw in 2021, full of redemption and motivated to win. Even the crowd didn’t booed him, that tells a lot.

Reply
Brad Carr February 27, 2023 at 11:31 am

That’s cause he doesn’t drive a Toyota

Reply
Eoin Cassin February 27, 2023 at 1:11 pm

I don’t see any need for redemption…this is the KFB Vengence Tour

Reply
Matthew Southwick February 27, 2023 at 1:21 pm

Reply
RedShiftRider February 27, 2023 at 1:58 pm

First thing I said as soon as he got out of the car. “Wow, they’re not booing him.”

DETROIT LIONS February 27, 2023 at 2:20 pm

Your not wrong other then the fact Kyle Larson will end the season with more wins then 8 this year

But yes the Kyle Busch revenge tour has begun

He will get 5-9 wins and the championship

Lucas Oil has to be loving it. Their first race with Busch as a primary sponsor and they get a ton of air time and the W.

I really wish that #8 Lucas paint scheme was his primary sponsor and design. It looks so perfectly retro and modern at the same time, it was so clean seeing that thing in the lead, felt very nostalgic!

Forest and Charlotte spend a lot of money in the NHRA, but every now and then they’ll throw a buck or two NASCAR’s way. That was a great looking wrap.

Easy E Network February 27, 2023 at 2:42 pm

I liked it, though I would have rather seen it closer to Indy since Lucas Oil is a fixture in Indianapolis. But it is a big name in dirt racing, so it being in the home state of many NASCAR and dirt drivers made sense too.

Reply
Easy E Network February 27, 2023 at 2:43 pm

@Gary JacksonLucas Oil spends a lot on Indy as a town and dirt racing of course.
