I absolutely do not condone Chase’s actions on Monday. That was completely unacceptable, and him getting suspended was the right call. I’m still gonna cheer for him when he returns

@Master – GanjaBill didn’t give Chase anything that other drivers weren’t given. Almost every driver in NASCAR’s top three series had their parents help them out.

Fans being irrational isn’t a good thing. If you’re not able to see when the person you’re supporting did something wrong, you’re not a fan, you’re obsessed.
It’s like me, a Kyle Busch fan, saying he is the cleanest driver in the field
Meh, i bet a lot of people see it, but they feel they need to defend their driver every single time
Only true fans criticize their drivers and teams if they do something wrong
I wish more people would understand this. Very few drivers end their career without doing something that is stupid.

As an Elliott fan I always catch heat because people think I always will support him but his actions at Charlotte was not good
And see unfortunate, a small percentage. The actor consistently have made the whole family. I guess I follow pages were most Chase fans can admit when he screws up defending what he did, and trying to say he only got suspended because I did he complaining about it so much but let’s be honest I feel like that small percent will be the first in line to say oh that driver needs to be suspended what they did was horrible
Then you are as much as a racing fan as you are a Chase fan. Most Chase fans aren’t racing fans.

I take Hamlin comments with a grain of salt, matter of fact I avoid him like the plague with all that bad Karma swirling around him.

The controversies yes. All the NASCAR penalties no. NASCAR can’t get out of their own way and let things be.

I don’t find Denny Hamlin’s rants on his podcast to be entertaining. I was disappointed when Dale Jr gave him this platform. Denny thinks he is the podcast king now. I can’t even listen to him.
Denny’s problem is he wants to lean on people rub people and use them up but he doesn’t want anybody to touch him or call him out for doing it. Chase shouldn’t of right rear hook him. He should’ve waited till he was on the inside of Denny and then spun him out.

What an ignorant comment. Denny doesn’t want to get hooked into the wall. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
As an Elliott fan I completely understand why he was suspended since they did the same thing for Bubba. Hamlin has a point but as usual he just talks too much to the point he makes himself look bad. Hamlin acts like he has never done anything dumb or childish in his career. All drivers at some point have done stupid stuff. I think Hamlin honestly might just be doing this for attention tbh. It isn’t just Chase fans that dislike him but people that are tired of constant whining.
Irrational fans are a long standing nascar tradition that I hope never dies. In the late 1980s I witnessed a fist fight in a restaurant after a Dale Earnhardt fan accused Bill Elliot of having a Chevrolet engine in his car when he made that remarkable Talladega two lap recovery. This was a restaurant, not a bar. Nobody was drunk.

I’m not an Elliot fan, but I can understand they’re frustrations. Hamlin preach respect and racing people the way you wanna be raced…. He drove Elliot to the wall two laps in a row. Now Elliot’s reaction is in the wrong. But Hamlin cannot complain about people acting “immature” when he does the same thing. I.E gateway and pocono last year

Denny raced Chase the same way Denny was crying about Ross racing him.. it’s ok if Denny does something but not ok if someone else does the same thing..

Uhh… There’s a huge difference between running someone into the wall and right rear hooking them in the dogleg going full throttle…
Denny ran him high into the wall… Then Chase decided to do the most dangerous and ignorant move he could make.
What Chase did was wrong and irresponsible, but how come Dennys not saying “yeah I doored him a couple times and I understand that making him mad”. I mean it’s like he forgot he did a few things that ticked Chase off. Again that does not excuse Chase to react like he did.
I’m pretty sure it’s not just Elliot fans booing Denny. I don’t blame him for not liking it, but he’s gotta own it and realize he has caused some of the reasons he’s being booed.

Chase was not wrong for what he did, and I hope he does it again when crybaby messes with him again.
Obviously Denny has a very short memory. He’s done far more “childish” things in his years in NASCAR. He’s also done his share of wreaking other drivers on purpose. Yes, Chase was wrong and NASCAR has finally drawn a line on certain behaviors on the track. Based on that Case should sit out a race based on this NASCAR’s new stance. As for us Elliot fans, Denny is simply jealous. He’s been such a hearing for so long that he doesn’t understand why he doesn’t have such devoted fans.

@Shawn Leider that’s not Denny’s point. After what happened to him when he opened his big mouth has caused the rest of the drivers to deny any wrong doing. He caused that problem not Chase. The whole problem with Denny’s argument is that he’s more prone to roughing up other drivers than most of the Cup drivers. He’s done it to Chase many times. Chase finally had enough. Unfortunately Denny isn’t smart enough to understand that’s what happened. Remember Martinsville 2017 when Hamlin crashed Chase from the lead in turn 3 on lap 499. Like drivers, some fans never forget. That’s just one example.
You’re right about Chase usually keeping a mostly level head but it seemed like Chase is starting to get frustrated and that can cloud your better judgment
I really think going after the most popular drivers’ fans isnt a smart move. It’s a no brainer that they outnumber your fans by a long shot, and proably isn’t the smartest, but this is also Denny complaining that he Chastained someone, and then got dumped for it
