I’m glad she is okay. The nascar truck series is all take and no give. This definitely was not her fault. The number 2 clearly drove right through her. She needs to move up to the Xfinity series.

@James Yanez I was going to say she got 13th on her first xfinity start at a track like Las Vegas that’s not easy to master and everyone raced her clean and she did the same thing. The trucks is literally take and no give and she has been trying to be aggressive but not to the point where she accidentally wreck them. These guys In trucks runs each other over except the the ones who has been their for a long long time. In xfinity they for the most part race each other with respect not all the time but better than trucks

Sanchez seems to always dump drivers in the top 10, he took out half the field two years ago in the Talladega race.
The best case for Deegan is to retaliate but she is walking a fine line and would need approval from the team, the Crew Chief and the owner. I like she is in Trucks. Going to X is great but let’s see how she handles this. First and foremost she is a Race Car Driver and she is probably really pissed off right now.
And it’s the second time he wrecked Hailie, both times by rear ending.

@GrandeBrewer I think you nailed it. A lot needs to be addressed over the Danica disaster. Deegan is from a racing family and the attitude is completely different. She has the target but also the threat as we see Sanchez acted today. Trucks is perfect for her, she is running exactly where she should. Danica did not have that opportunity. Be interesting to see how the team handles this.

@pjartistics I’m a boomer and a fan of hers. I agree that she needs to stop tolerating this nonsense.
Frankly, after watching her in Xfinity last year and in the Michelin Pilot Challenge endurance race at the 24 Hours of Daytona this year, I’m convinced she’s better suited to driving those rather than trucks, which is more like demolition derby. It’s a stepping stone, but time for her to move up. At least that’s my take.

The Truck series was a great series in those days. You had guys like Bobby Hamilton and Todd Bodine there as well. A young driver could actually learn the ropes in the series then. Now it’s just a waste of time.

Not a fan of Hailie but that was straight up dirty of Sanchez. that was not a “racing incident”. the only way nascar puts an end to this over aggressive dangerous racing is to start parking drivers as soon as it happens and for the next race on the schedule.

Tommy Morano, you ever consider that the #2 truck was trying to help her with a drafting push but when he got close, she backed off the throttle? NOT the first time that she’s done that either. She’s a dud in all motorsports racing, NOT just NASCAR. The stats/facts don’t lie.
@Sergeant Masson You have a point I thought about, but I do believe he bumped her a little to hard there, no need for that hard of a push there, but I see your point.
This series needs some veterans like Hornaday, Sprague and Seitzer to straighten these fools out.
