I think this is either a Code 03 or Code 05. Code 01 means no injury at all. Code 03 means it’s a possible injury. Code 05 mean it’s a potentially life-threatening injury. Code 10 means it’s a fatality

Good Lord dude, are you new here??? Pit road is dangerous, the job is dangerous numerous steps have been taken over the years to reduce risks, but they cant be eliminated…
Nothing: pit road speed limits
Also nothing: pit box orientation penalties
Also nothing: reducing allowed number of crew members
Also nothing: mandating helmets for every person over the wall

how about a wild idea, when you pit under yellow you go back out to the position you had on the track since the field is frozen you shouldn’t be able to pass in the pits except for green flag pit stops
No. They did that in Xfinity this weekend since it’s a standalone race and it completely removes an important strategy element of racing. Live pitstops should always be a part of motorsport. It sounds to me like the 3 should be penalized for cutting the box. In other series there’s a penalty if you make contact with any crew member, I think NASCAR should have the same rule
Also, majority of the time when cars pit under yellow they lose positions anyways. So many teams stay out, take 2 tires or gas only nowadays

Even at the track it was nearly impossible to see and they were showing the replay over and over from the turn 4 camera

I been watching Nascar since the early 80s . I am actually starting to think that on yellow flag pit stops the field should be frozen and just let them come in and go out in the position they were in before the yellow flag. I’m sure most people in the comments won’t agree.
