LETS FREAKING GO. That is amazing coming from an RSS racing fan. I can finally pre order my first RSS racing diecast now.

I wonder how Ryan feels. It’s an RSS entry by paper only for owners points but it’s a 3rd SHR car. He got a similar win a few years back when Austin Dillion won Eldora in a “RSS” truck

Aric Almirola gets his 4th career win in the Xfinity series.

This is Almirola’s 1st win at the Sonoma Raceway in the Xfinity series.

This is the 3rd time the #28 has won in the Xfinity series.

3rd Xfinity win in my opinon I don’t like to count the 2007 win since Hamlin drove the car later in the race

I wonder what happened with Larson. Good for Almirola, and I’m thrilled for Ryan Sieg’s group.

He clipped the tires in turn 11 and knocked his toe end out a bit.

I have a new level of respect for Almirola after this. I’ve been wanting that team to finally win one for so long and they did. Almirola just took a very underfunded car and won with it. Shows that Haas is the problem and not him

Really good win for aric and rss but that was most likely a shr prepared car like Cole Custer last year at auto club

Yea I was gonna say, SHR prepares these cars for their Cup drivers. That wasnt the same car the #39 is, thats a SHR car.

Congrats to Aric Almirola and RSS Racing! Great to see RSS finally break through and for Almirola to get a great finish with how his cup season has gone

I swear Larson has become the new king of choking away races. Literally had the best car in the field by a good margin and still managed to throw it away in stage 3.

I’m happy for Aric and that team but watching the hypocrisy of some of these people is hilarious to me. Congratulations Aric

“either everything is okay or nothing is”. Personally I never had a problem with cup drivers dropping down, especially since the sport has moved away from career Xfinity and truck drivers (with very few exceptions). But I see your point lol

Drakionclaw June 11, 2023 at 2:54 am

I personally still hate Cup invaders in this series, but it’s nice seeing RSS getting a win.

Evan Williams June 11, 2023 at 2:52 am

It might not be a Cup race, but it sure is nice to see that number 28 back in victory lane too. When I see that number, I think of Davey Allison who was taken from us too soon, and Ernie Irvan who drove that car so brilliantly after Davey died. Davey will be gone 30 years this year.

Way to go A-Double! He was a sleeper competitor going into this and beat the favorites of Almendinger and Larson.
