The DoorDash 250 was an exciting road race. It ended with only two cautions, with Denny Hamlin taking the worst damage with 19 laps to go and wasn't able to finish the race. The race wasn't all bad for Denny Hamlin as he was able to get the Stage 1 victory, Kyle Busch continued his success and won Stage 2 making it his second Stage win of the season and his first Stage win at Sonoma. As the race continued, Martin Truex Jr. showed his determination late in the race as he captured the lead and didn't look back. Martin Truex Jr. was able to secure the Toyota/Save Mart 350 win, making it his second victory of the year.

Did anyone’s performance today surprise you?
Caca
Nope
Chris Beuscher did well. Nice to see MTJ and Kyle B doing well.
Was that a Sonoma Raceway?
This very well could be Truex’s year!
Already had his year so NOPE
@PatriotsFan1 you can have multiple good years wdym he’s already had his
I hope so! You can never have too many great years.
It’s nice to see a clean road course race
although it wasn’t the most eventful race, I loved watching an old school style road course race. This reminded of like 97-98.
This isn’t racing. B O R I N G
A great season for the NASCAR on FOX crew full of nostalgia, hall of famers and the craziest races ever see you all next year
I saw better racing at my local dirt track Saturday night lmao. These races are hardly crazy. Crazy boring
The most famous words in motorsports just got more famous!
And not in a good way.
That guy was terrible. Still don’t know who he is, either.
Fox just had to knock off the commercials to make this highlight reel 50% of race was on during commercials. Happy to see the fox era end.
Man that was a snoozer.
I miss the gravel pits
The most exciting part of the race was when they started up the cars. It was all downhill from there…
Nascar just sucks anymore I just come to see highlights now.. I don’t waste my day anymore more watching the race
Most exciting was a flat tire and the driver pulled a U’ey at turn 11 infield to go into pit lane.
So happy for MTJ!
This is how they should run the races. Keep the stages but not stop for the end of a stage and just run all of the laps like they used to without the stopping and starting between stages
110%
End of Stage 2 should ALWAYS be at Halfway too!
I just rather start the race then finish. No more stages. No more playoffs. Just old school racing with points and that’s it
Get rid of stage racing all together !!
@cale O B the only downside to that is in the past they have had times where the champion was crowned with like 2 races left or more…
@Mike Henry I don‘t see that as a downfall. Sure, it‘s more exciting when the last race is the decider. But nowadays it means absolutely nothing. There is nothing special about it anymore as it’s forced. Until today I‘m thinking about Edwards vs Stewart 2011…
I love Jamie Mac in the booth. Hope next year’s Fox booth is Mike Joy, Kevin Harvick, and Jamie Mac. That group will bring more of a serious and insightful take to the broadcast (like NBC currently does)
I agree. Having him in the booth is really great.
Best car found its way to the front, without crappy stage breaks. Very good race
Have to give a nod to Clint today, sounds like from the highlights he did a lot more analytic commentary than the rest of this season. Clint knows his stuff, clearly, and I gotta think most of what he was saying earlier this year was pushed on him by the producers. Similar to what happens with Rick Allen at NBC. Let these men talk! They know their craft better than anyone else!
My man Martin Truex Jr does it again in wine country. Well done!
