NASCAR Xfinity Series: Tennessee Lottery 250 Highlights | NASCAR on FOX

It was a hot day at the Nashville Superspeedway that ended with 12 cautions and two restarts. The first caution came in the first lap, as the drivers were making it to turn one. Four drivers were not able to finish the race after taking heavy damage due to the wrecks they were in. Ty Gibbs happen to be one of those drivers, and before his early exit, he was able to grab the Stage 1 victory. It was his third stage victory of the season. Chandler Smith was also able to grind it out and secured himself the Stage 2 win. After multiple cautions late, the race went into overtime and A. J. Allmendinger grabbed his seventeenth career win at the Tennessee Lottery 250.

Another win for a cup driver. Why cant the cup guys stop running Xfinity races and stealing wins from the regulars

You would’ve loved this series when it was called the Busch and then Nationwide series. Cup series drivers used to dominate the races and win

Last time this was brought up, the Xfinity driver’s like having the Cup driver’s there. And it’s not like the old days where you were able to collect points in both series. I think Cup drivers are limited to the number of races they can drive in.

AJ is awesome and I am glad to see him take the checkers yet again! “You don’t know when it’s your last win” — what a great comment.
