Ross splitting the lapped cars top 5 move of the year

Absolutely that was awesome and he also drove that car to perfection to win. Never seen a right front flat happen during a burnout like that while the resr tires survived. I’ve been trying to stick up for Ross for years.
Hopefully the haters can’t find anything to complain about after this one. Amazing win.

It was a great move when I saw it during the commercial I knew he had the win in the bag unless a caution

LETS GO ROSS!!! Not only a win but a CLEAN win! LOVE TO SEE IT!!!!

Well deserved that was impressive. When the right front tire goes flat during a victory burnout and the rear tires didn’t. Unbelievable drive by Ross. Couldn’t have done it without the team too of course. Congrats to them all.

@user-kj7nw4zg1y  after all the flak he’s been getting this year this really proves that he is talented and not just aggressive

Best race I’ve seen in awhile. I’m never one of the complainers but honestly this was entertaining and Ross plus that whole team deserved it. Seriously so good, what an amazing drive, finish and race!
The real fans obviously appreciate how good this was and that’s also cool to see!

One of the best races and impressive wins I’ve seen in a long time. Keep it going Ross!

What was impressive about the 2nd car not being able to make a pass or an attempt when it got close to the car in front and be specific?

SethODucks June 26, 2023 at 4:03 am

What a fantastic race. No runaway winner. There was always action throughout the field. Guys were falling off and coming. Tons of action to watch. Super quick race. Limited cautions. This was a TEXTBOOK NASCAR race that won’t get remembered. But this, this is why I watch.

@lil Sebastian Except Chastain rand down the leader twice and passed them? Reddick, then Truex. He just had a better handling car.

Nascar won’t broadcast it, but the crowd was roaring when Chastain took the lead. It’s amazing the impact he has had on the fans. Good race.

One of the best races and broadcasts there has been this year. They aired it. Also gave him a bunch of air time after. Great race and win.
Well deserved.

@Santa Rata people seemed to like how he stuck up for himself. That surprised me to be honest. Luckily people didn’t blame him for that because Gragson started it, grabbed and shook him and was definitely about to try to hit him first. But I don’t think that’s the focus on him really. He’s a great racer that worked hard to get there and I think more people are seeing that.

Props to the safety worker at the Stage 2 restart who could see that Blaney wasn’t getting away from that wall and was already jogging his way to the truck to help him out seconds before there was even an impact.

Reply
lil Sebastian June 26, 2023 at 10:49 am

There will be a safer barrier on all of those inside walls the next time they come back.

That 3 wide move to pass Aric and the 51 was the race sealing move. Loved the race today. Lots of great racing throughout.

Let’s keep going here. Let the Fairgrounds take another date from another SMI track. This track is too good to abandon.

Ross Chastain is hated by a lot of people but not by this guy . I love his driving style , just like Dale Sr. “you don’t get out of my way, I will move you out of my way”. We are watching the new age INTIMIDATOR
Let’s Goooo Ross !!!

Ross delivering a clean race was amazing. He had a high awareness, especially in that 3-driver battle. Side by side, but im glad he didnt bump into Byron or Martin
