Awesome! Couldn’t ask for a better weekend, seeing both my favorite drivers bring home wins.
So your favorite drivers are Almendinger and Chastain? If so, that’s a unique selection.
Ross raced really clean tonight. He deserves this one. Shoutout to Erik Jones for getting a top 10 in what has been a god awful season for him. Also shoutout to Kyle Busch for getting a top 10 after a flat tire, pit penalty, and a spin.
Ross Chastain won in a beautiful paint scheme, and had one hell of a burnout. Great race, thank goodness nobody was crashing a ton like yesterday’s Xfinity race. Good race, thank goodness all the drivers raced each other clean.
I just love how to refer to the other drivers racing clean when Wreck Em Ross is usually the one NOT driving clean.
Great race with plenty of battles! Fav part of the race for me was the start of stage 2 with the 3 wide race for the lead for a few laps! Congrats to Chastain and Chevy on the W.

Off topic, but what the hell happened to Stenhouse? He was 24th – 26th one lap down. He ran inside the Top 15 for many races. I really hope that’s not like that for the rest of the season. Please don’t be the downfall of a Cinderella season, I just hope it was a bad racecar. At least he got inside the Top 20 at some points though but I’m praying he can bounce back next week.
Good on him to finally get a win with out driving through someone, overall pretty nice race. No real issues with the cars, a lot of green flag stops, lead was close throughout most of the day, and no dumb 5 to go caution causing the field to revert to their ARCA days.
I do have to say though NBC kind of back loaded the race with ads, I swear 1/3 of the last 40 laps was spent at some sort of ad.
